As much as i would love to, i cant tell the stories behind the scars here as they came about in very unSSC ways. i wouldnt want to offend anyone. :rose:

I have a C too. We should start a "Scar Stories" thread!

I thought they were all done with those movies. The last one was suppose to put everything in perspective and all loose ends are now connected and all is well with the world.

Now, from the depths of doom and gloom there comes yet another one...

Another tale from the minds of many and the stomachs of few...

da daaaah da daaaaah daaaaaah
da da da da da daaaaaaaaa <===(trumpet fanfare)

SCAR WARS!...the discussion.

Priceless moment # 1,678,943 (approximately) occurred last night.

As you may know I've been exceedingly tired, lacking in creativity and worried about money lately.

The trip that I should be going on this weekend, I canceled because of the above. It was, partly to be a romantic anniversary trip.

I suggested instead we might get a hotel in town, no driving, just us two sounded better to me. Still I'm so tired. I have NO new cool D/s ideas and I'm not sure I have the energy for it if I did. I'm worried about money.

So I remarked while driving last night that maybe we shouldn't bother with a hotel. It will cost money I said. I have no ideas or energy I said. It might not be worth the expense.

To which he said, it's worth it to me, spending a night alone with you even if we just hang out and do nothing.

Aww . . .

:D

Happy Anniversary! :D (P.S., said it before, i think, but will say it again - you definitely have a real keeper :rose: )

Thanks!

I agree!

We both forgot our actual anni this year. That shows how stressed we both are these days. He usually remembers.

LOL!

Another night this week, we plan to go listen to jazz at our favorite club. A club we haven't been to in too many years. The group played at our wedding.

We actually go to a jazz club in New Orleans more often than in our town. Crazy shit huh?

Which club? I will be in New Orleans next week for a conference. My SO will join me at the end of the week and we both love jazz. :rose: Neon

It's not as well known and touristy as some clubs there.

We've never seen a bad show there. It's a small club on the edge of the French Quarter. It's recommended that you take a cab but we always just walk.

Charmaine Neville is one hell of a wonderful performer, singer, storyteller! She is there on Monday! We've seen her three times over the years and I adore her more each time!

You already know where you are staying right?

The Ritz Carleton right on the edge of the French Quarter - walked all around there last time I was there so I am assuming that we can walk from the hotel? (Re: the Ritz - Leave it to Bush administration appointees to insist on traveling in style - if Clinton were still in office, we'd be staying at the Holiday Inn. And they talk about tax-and-spend Democrats, LOL. )

Thank you for the link! :rose: Neon

You are very welcome! I LOVE New Orleans.

You can walk from your hotel but it would be a long walk. You'd be going from one edge to the other. Also you'd have to go down some marginal and dark streets.

Last time we were there we had a great dinner with:

MUSHROOMS VERONIQUE Fresh baked mushroom caps stuffed with grapes and savory Boursin cheese encrusted in fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano
and the BEST Café Brûlot!

at Arnuad's.

Wonderful less expensive fare can be found at

Johnny's Po Boys

and

Acme Oyster House

My pleasure.

You need anything else just let me know.

Last year in May we went there for our anniversary celebration. That's the last time I was there. At that time, if you tried to eat a meal at a regular meal time the lines were looong due to lack of labor. I tend to each at off times so it wasn't a big problem for us.

LOL!

I'm big on making sure I have sustenance.

I always keep some "car food."

For romantic get aways, I also insist on some fruit, bread, and cheese at the very least.

Last night it was cherries, Hawaiian bread, Havarti cheese, a mini heath bar and a mini butter finger.

My husband said that he had a priceless moment last night in the hotel.

You see he was spanking and violating me. Things were getting pretty good, and sore and hot when suddenly a dog with a deep bark seemed to be mighty damn close.

The hotel allows pets it seems and he was barking just outside our door in the hall.

My husband said the look on my face at that moment was priceless.

Of course y'all all know I have a reason for that sort of look.

Nuff said.

Fury :rose:

Just siting in the club, letting the music pour over my skin, the beat resonate in my bones was priceless last night.

*smiles*

So yesterday I was bad. I did something that there is not an excuse for, something I did not intend to do. I shocked myself but I fucked up what can you do when you fuck up that big?

There in the middle of Walmart my head spun around, I spit out pea soup, feeling like I was being made fun of, and told my husband he could suck my dick. This supposedly made some ladies eyes bug out and others to freeze in shock. My daughter laughed her ass off. Um, I laughed too because that's what I do instead of crying or facing uncomfortable things.

He didn't even seem to mind much though he teased me about it. WTF?

Was it so big it had to be forgiven on the spot?

I apologized of course. I felt so bad about it.

Later during "adult" time he beat me so well though. Not because he was mad but because he was trying to help me feel better.

What a man.

Wow.

I don't deserve him at all.

He is priceless, always has been.
