It really pisses me off, to me it is the equivalent of walking away mid-sentence and smacks of bad manners.

Just because you're a pain slut doesn't mean that punishment can be outside of pain. There has to be another way to handle it. i'll fully admit that my biggest turn on is any kind of pain, which my Master knows full well. He uses it to His advantage by punishing me and, knowing it turns me on, sending me to my corner without being able to do anything about it. Doesn't matter how much I beg and plead, i'm left there, though if i beg too much He'll punish me harder and leave me again. Drives me nuts. You can still get hot from the pain, but denying release after that is a hell of a punishment.

That's if we're discussing real punishment and not play punishment. Still don't understand the attraction of play punishment. Well I know it was a short story, and as such I had to do a lot with a few words, but I think at the end I put it out there that she garnered some joy from her punishment. She felt she was allowed to share in Master's joy and pleasure. She knew her presence added something to the kinkiness of the event as well. She may have been initially hurt by the experience, but she learned her lesson, and felt pride in that.

I hope I don't make my submissives in the story total subjects. I like to think I show them in the same high regard I hold their real life counterparts.
