Psst, Yank... You can find international dates in the grocery aisle with the other dried fruits. Although a good domestic date is an adequate substitute.

It's because a) I enjoy Starbucks coffee quite a bit, and b) I have many very pleasant associations with drinking coffee at Starbucks so seeing the av is always a good thing for me.

Both. I buy the Starbucks coffee for my daily use at home and stop by a store at least a couple times each week, more if I'm out and about on business or fortunate enough to meet up with friends who enjoy a good latté now and then.
