Hey best girl, both are extremely well, he came through his flight without a hitch, his milk intake has increased and he's been sucking on a dummy, so hopefully he may be able to get fed straght from the source soon.
Possy was happy to be home I think, either that or the state of the house shocked her because I found her in our bedroom looking at the bed and crying (she was probably thinking "Oh great, back with the snore machine again.").
I haven't slept that well since she left, it's so nice to snuggle wth a person rather than a pillow.

I'm sure she was very happy to be home.

I remember when I came home from the hospital after my daughter was born, it was very important to me, for some reason, to do something normal. Something not associated with this strange new creature in my house. So the night I came home, I told everyone to get out, and I packed MrB's lunch for the next day. And cried the whole time. I know. It sounds odd, but I really needed to reach out for something that was familiar.

Yep, that's about it, she let me sleep in and when I got up she had made the kids breakfast and was doing the eldest's school lunch.
She has managed to find lifts with quite a few people so she could be spending more time at home than we first thought, hopefully we can keep her to her promise to take things easy.

Oh yeah, Scaly is shouting drinks for everyone it seems, what are you having?

Something that will knock me out. I gotta get some sleep tonight.

Possy's had major surgery. Hopefully she'll listen to her body and rest when she can. You may have to tie her to the bed. Which of course brings up all sorts of ideas, but I trust you to be a gentleman. ;) :)

Reads that line thrice.

Scotch, neat, please.
I'll have some of the Macallan, the 12 year old is fine, thank you. Yes, neat of course. What idiot (aside from my dear mother) would bastardize a fine single malt with ice?

Oh, you say the bar is closed this early in the day? Damn!

And how do you feel about Scotch and soda, MWY? Is that equally bastardized?

Ummmm...

Sure...me.

Wait, did I just admit that?

Goody!

It's concerning first person narration.

You know what, it's very confusing. Let me PM you.

Once in a while I add two or three drops of water to my scotch during the second half of the snifter. Try it sometime.

I've never had anything in my scotch but ice when my father forgets that I prefer neat so I can't comment. My suspicion is that adding soda would greatly dilute the flavor, which is why I drink good scotch in the first place.
