An american of african descent... so how did you learn Swedish?

I learned Swedish through the careful study of Alcazar songs played at my local discoteque.

Jag talar inte Svenska. I only know a few essential phrases in Swedish. Such as ...

1. Skulle du lik att se de hem av a ensam, ensam man?
2. Forlat, Jag tanke den var min ben.
3. Behagar skaffa ej slag mig om.
4. Nej, nej, ej de paprika sprej!
5. Jasa Gud, min ogon!

In Windows you can either use a shortcut to type non-English characters, e.g. Alt+0140 which gives us Œ. Or, in either Windows or 'Nix you can simply cut and paste from the little character map applet.

Swedish, which appears neither Latin or Germanic in its origin looks to me like the output of a virus infected Microsoft Outlook email. If I had to hazard a guess as to what this means, and it appears that I do, I'd say that it means something akin to ...

You are as well educated in the Swedish language (which HAS the same old-germanic origin as modern day German) as you are a sweet-talker!

These Alcazar characters are still strangers to me. Maybe if I hear one of their songs, I'll remember it, but I wouldn't associate it with their name, I think.

Oh, and just to keep you safe from harm - "slå mig inte" means "don't slap me". It would enhance the effect, I think, if you would add a "jag äger en sexshop" after it...
