Day 11 a Movie that left me confused

I think I’m on record as being a bit of a Wachowski fanboy. I’ve seen this movie 3 times. Which of you know anything about me and my general dislike of movies longer than 90 minutes, says a lot. This movie confuses me, not because of its message or meaning or anything but because I really just can’t decide what I think of it. Is it brilliant? Is it pretentious trash? Is it both. I don’t fucking know! And it confuses me to not be able to form and opinion about something 🤣

This would have been my second choice! Had to watch it a second time but I loved it.

I sort of liked that movie, but yes, it wasn't a strait forward story.
Most things David Lynch directs are a bit strange.
Not being straight forward is the most tame way to describe it 😂
Admittedly I was probably stoned when I watched but I had almost no idea what was going on the whole time. And I feel like parts of the storyline were just completely abandoned. I kept saying to my dad “are they ever going to come back to that?”
It wasn’t worth it to me to watch again to try to understand lol

Never seen this one but I love brilliant pretentious trash so I’ll have to check it out 😂

And here I thought it would make more sense if you were stoned. :ROFLMAO:

2 0 0 1
not mentioning countless movies with last minute switch that made you rethink the ENTIRE movie cuz that would be a HORRIBLE spoiler!!

Day 11: A film that made you cheer at the cinema
Missed yesterday. This one was hard for me. I finally thought of one at the premier night of Ironman where at the end of the movie Tony Stark reveals he is Ironman.

Day 12: A film that left you feeling confused
Hoooo-kayyyyy

I understood the plot of this film (seriously, if I didn't I would have just given up there and then), but something in it left me seriously confused.

Hear me out here...

The scene where the ferry is cut in half.

Sorry, but WT actual F?

I am well aware it's a film, and a superhero film as well, so impossible shit happens and we need to accept it. It's not even the fact he held the shop together and wasn't ripped apart. I ran with that. He's super...

But in any superhero film, we are told the super lives within our world. Where the rules of physics we know and are used to apply. They walk among us.

So tell me how on the name of all that is holy does the fucking ferry not instantly sink? Both halves are still floating in the water? And when he holds the ship together, it is still holed below the waterline. And by holed, I mean it is split in two from bow to fucking stern...
