Christian Bale is excellent in this. I love that he modelled his performance of Bateman off Tom Cruise interviews - the big smiles with zero emotion in the eyes.
I've read the book too and still don't fully know what's really going on

I actually love this movie… this is the first movie posted that I really like, and didn’t mind the ambiguity at the end.

Although I do kind of like 2001, it is a bit too weird for me.

I’m not a surfer at all but I fucking love surf movies. And this movie is why I traveled to Asia after college instead of Europe. Well that and the All Asia air pass being dirt cheap at the time and knowing more people I could stay with there. But anyway.
