😍 I knew I wouldn't get to today's prompt in time 😂 I already picked this at least once, maybe twice before anyway 🤭

Day 21 A movie that made you want to fall in love:

I was already a big Ewan fan boy…but I’m pretty sure this was the exact moment in my life when I realized I was at least a little
Bi-curious.

Wait did you mean fall in love with other people?

Still…same. Played hooky to go see this movie with my future wife on a weekday afternoon. Did its job there too.

Goddamn that smile to this day…
The costume designer for this movie has my eternal gratitude! So much sparkle and glamour 🥰

City of angels really did nothing for me. I felt it was just a rip off.
Actually, I was talking about “Faraway, So Close!” Which was a sequel to ”Wings Of Desire”. 🥰🥰🥰

And City Of Angels (as you said), was a remake that I haven’t seen.

Don’t waste your time w city of angels.

Faraway so close was good too. Interestingly weird!

The Addams Family.
Gomez and Morticia adore each other and their family.
I've never been in a loving relationship but they make me believe there really is someone perfect out there for everyone
I agree - that is what a relationship should be. I did experience that, and it was worth the work. And actually forgiving each other for being human helps. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Again you besmirch my honour and sully my reputation as resident Good Girl TM

How dare you sir.
How very dare you

Flounces off dramatically
Don’t worry, babe. I’ll take care of it.
Stone cold thief. Damn you!
HEY! You better watch what you say about my Rosie! She is a perfect sweetheart and I won’t have her spoken to this way.

Three movies
Two competitors…
But I would love to be “Brent Like Beckum” by the Queen Pirate, Keira Knightley
“Pirates of the Caribbean.. 1, 2, 3”

This one is great because the film pays off the work done by John Astin and Carolyn Jones. When they were first writing the show, they asked the two of them how they wanted to play it. Astin said he wanted them to be totally, passionately, insanely in love with each other, and have no problems showing that. It was so unique on TV at the time, when you had couples still sleeping in separate beds. It was and is such a brilliant, loving, caring and equal relationship, and Julia and Houston carried it on seamlessly. Love them.
