Made the mistake of watching this in the theater and since then I haven’t been able to watch scary flicks with both eyes open. I do remember though that everyone’s popcorns were flying during the movies

Before the second one I used to watch scary flicks all the time by myself but after watching this on the big screen with every jump scary factor amplified. Still playing catch up. The first thing that comes to mind in this category is The Wire but that's a series, not a movie. I literally woke up thinking about that show for years. So that's how I'm going to treat this prompt--- haunting my thoughts.
