Sex & Shenanigans

Are brooks for old people?
I see them a lot at work....
Not really a older demographic....
Definitely not teens though.... So... Idk
They are really good running shoes and really comfortable esprcially if you are on your feet for hours. I think middle aged people who dont care about fashion like them.

I am getting old and wear a lot of Brooks.

That makes sense.... And explains a lot
I think the main reason Brooks are worn by an older crowd is price. They’re in the $80-$250 range with the average being $120-$140, and most younger people (or their parents) won’t pay that unless it’s for Jordans. Brooks is more focused on runner tech than fashion, I think

Almost all of my running shoes have been New Balance. I’m too lazy to come up with an acronym. The w may stand for wide and the b for bozo.

Oh, Brooks. I thought the conversation was about books for older folk.
I thought, "Damn, that's some expensive literature right there".
No wonder young folk are turning to Kindles (is that still a thing?).
Now, when I was young, let me tell you about dime novels ...

S.A.S. shoes are popular for nurses and older people as well. Just thought I would bring that fascinating fact up.

I remember going to a mom and pop shop back in my day (1980's) as a child and having my feet measured for shoe fittings. This has become a thing of the past...

I can remember getting my feet measured but when you get older you stop growing so no need to measure. I can attest to SAS shoes too. They last forever it seems to me. My first attraction to SAS was they were made in the USA.

Your feet may stop growing, but that doesn’t mean they don’t change in size as you age. Some people’s feet widen as the arch falls, and weight loss or gain can affect shoe size as well.
