JLM73 ,,,,,,, you could not have said it better, we all owe so much to those of you that served.

SB,,,,,, I look forward to your thread everyday. My father was in the 92nd BG, flew 29 missions. Also how did Mr SB enjoy his golf trip to Alabama. Would have liked to have meet up with he and his group.

On a side note if anyone reading this lives in the SE you might be interested in an event over Memorial Day weekend. There is an organization called Vettes4Vets that rents Talladega Speedway for the weekend. For a $100 contribution you can drive 5 laps around the track and $75 for each additional 5 laps. You do drive your own car. No racing . Below is a their web page.

Early bird registration with special pricing is open:
Track Days are FRIDAY, MAY 26 AND SATURDAY, MAY 27, 2017
Visit Their registration page to sign up for track day at Talladega @ http://www.vettes4vets.org/

Good morning!

Thank you all for the comments!
Hope you had a great weekend!

KGG... that sounds like a fun day for a great cause!

We went to Golf Club yesterday for their Demo Day. All the major golf manufacturers had tents set up at the driving range and you could try any club and hit balls. Free food too! It was gorgeous!!

So the story goes like this....back in 2000, my ex gave me golf lessons. I loved it! Then we went to Florida with my dad and stepmom in Sept 2000. We played 9 holes. I hit the ground so hard on the 6th hole, I tore the cartilage off the left ribs where my bra band is. It was extremely painful and took a year to heal! I have been terrified ever since of playing. I mean, really, who hurts themselves that badly playing golf? Evidently, I do!

So at the TaylorMade tent, I told that to the guy and he laughed and asked his partner, if they have liability insurance. I told his partner what happened and they were both like YOU pick a club for her, no, YOU pick a club for her. omg.

I swung at 7 balls, missed 3 but managed to hit (badly) 4. All the while MrSB and friends are laughing at me....in flip flops too! lol Anyway, we had a blast!

This is weird to say but I'm going to anyway. I know some have said we must be rich because of our house and lifestyle. Couldn't be further from the truth. We are comfortable but no where near rich. But we do have a rich life full of love and fun. And friends! It's great having rich friends! We can't do a lot of things they do but we still have fun when we can. So anyway, we're walking to our car. Saw many Porsche's, Mercedes, Lexus, Cads, BMW's. Plus a 1950 something Tbird and a couple Bentley's. Then there is our Dodge Durango. lol And I LOVE my Durango!

Have a great day!!

Being rich is a matter of perspective. Sounds like yours is a rich life indeed. As for golf, I love the game, but would have trouble getting out of the house to play if I had a beautiful lady such as yourself dressed like that at home!!!:rose::rose::rose:

Hi everyone!

I want to give a thanks to all of you that served or are serving in our military. A friend just lost his 99 year old dad who was in the Army Air Corp. He flew over Omaha Beach on D-day. MrSB's dad (95 and still with us) was also in the Army Air Corp and was a radio man in B17's. He was shot down over the English channel and was the last to leave the plane.

I am humbled and thankful for all our military, present and past!

Yep... my Dad was an Army Air Corps pilot in WWII -- flying B-24s from Italy for the last year of the war. Some scary stories of his time in service ... hard to imagine him doing all that at 21 years old. Great respect for those who serve -- and a fair bit of skepticism for our more recent leaders who push the military into situations and keep them there.

Hi everyone! I have to share this!

We went to dinner with friends to a restaurant with Chicago roots. It's full of Chicago sports memorabilia. Well, tonight the Cubs minor league operations people were there getting their World Series Rings! They walked by our table and we asked to see it and several handed them to us to try on!

This is THE REAL DEAL RING!!! On MY hand! How cool is this?!?!?

It's HUGE!!!

Im just guessing, but Im thinking you handle the putter better in the bedroom than on the golf course? Meanwhile it sounds like Mr SB always finds the perfect line to the hole! :)

Sounds like you had a fun day at the golf club and at the dinner. That ring must be worth a fortune with all those diamonds.

Nice continuation to the pink theme, teasing as usual.

Good morning!

Hope you are all doing well!

Computer keyboard update: Took it to the Microsoft store. Warranty ran out a month ago and they said for $50 they could send it to Acer to see if they can replace the keyboard and about how much it would cost. However it would be expensive.

Said no thank you. Went to a local computer repair place that is very reputable and large. He said he wouldn't even touch it. These keyboards are extremely difficult and expensive to replace and not worth his time.

So!!! I can find it online but it is very difficult to replace and requires taking the entire computer apart! We may try it anyway and if we destroy the laptop, then I get a new one anyway. Gotta try! Might be like the microwave light bulb and actually work!

Thinkingofyou....I think you are right! In fact, I said to friends last night, I have better strokes in the massage room and will stick to that!

Some more pink this morning?

I n the UK the law says that it is expected that consumer items to have a reasonable life beyond a year or even two irrespective of the warranty. Not enough reason to move to Britain though! :)

Doing well with the pink theme, looking gorgeous as usual.

I dismantled an old HP laptop a few years back, to see if I could rebuild it. Wouldn't attempt it again. It can apart ok but trying to put it back was impossible. Physically getting everything back inside the case wasn't the problem but all the circuit and component connections are very thin ribbons that you can't get back into the connector. They have to go in dead square, and need force to push them home which given the space is impossible. Gave up in the end and got rid of it.

Today I got a message from a young member here. He called me a slut and asked if I wanted to play. He is not going to like my answer.

To the many sincere and extremely nice people here, the below is not directed at you.

Please reconsider pm'ing me if you are going to be crude and demeaning. In other words, don't. It shows you have no class and manners.

Unfortunately, some of the worlds youth, have never been brought up to have manners.

Sorry it happened, and I know you will deal with it. It's just a shame that morons like him, spoil it for the rest, whi just want a bit of fun without aggravation

You are an amazing woman. As a mature adult male I only wish I could share an evening or 10 with you. Your honesty and frank open discussion make your thread one of the best on Lit. You are a beautiful and sexy woman. I hope you continue for years to CUM.

Good morning!

Latest computer update:
Yesterday, I spoke to Acer's parts company. I can buy the keyboard and top casing for $101, shipping included. The keyboard is attached to the outer shell where the keys come though the holes.

Here's the caveat.....that gal I spoke to said she has to put a request into Acer to sell the keyboard. It's a special request only. She said they usually get back to her within 24 hours if they will provide the part to sell. She was awesome and I appreciated her help! However, I still have no idea if I can even get the keyboard.

Todger..... I hear ya! But if we can even get the part, we're going to give it a try.

Thanks for your support and comments! Hopefully he learned something.

We had a brush fire in the area yesterday. It was miles away from me but I could see the smoke while I was walking last evening. And it was wicked windy!

Have a fabulous day!

Join me for coffee?
