As some areas become less habitable, other areas become more habitable. Mexico is becoming less desert and more tropics, while the southwest US becomes drier desert. Canada, Siberia, and Antarctica are mostly empty lands that could fill up with climate change refugees from everywhere.

America was built on its agriculture. Fifty years from now...the only land in the US that will reliably produce products will be irrigated. Canada will be the new breadbasket. It didn't have to be like this.

While often non-toxic, under certain conditions, the algae can produce domoic acid (DA), an amino acid that impacts the nervous systems of animals who consume it.

According to The Guardian, harmful algae blooms like this have sickened sea animals before, but this one is severe and appears to be coming from farther offshore than usual.

Sam Dover, a co-founder of Channel Islands Marine & Wildlife Institute (CIMWI) and its director of veterinary medicine, told the outlet, “The current crisis is just unprecedented.”

Ruth Dover, also a co-founder of CIMWI, added, “The flood gates opened and it just gets worse every day. We’re getting 30 to 60 reports an hour and more than 300 reports a day.”

Over 40 papers...of course I was only the primary on 12...and a couple of my early ones were fluff...jumping through the hoops to get the degree. I don't count abstracts...those aren't peer reviewed

You may not get this but, most of today's proven science that you are seemingly arguing against can be replicated by yourself. You could, if you actually wanted to, do this at home for next to no cost. It's not about who paid for what studies determining the results, except in your own mind.

But you have made up your mind, and have no desire to change your views.
