Thanks Blooze ...... :rose:

I am ok with no sugar, but that first cup in the morning. :(

Getting sluggishly outta my warm snugly covers and traipsing through the house, to sit on a nice comfy chair. Cut on the pot, start it all up. Smelllllllll that coffee brewing, one could almost taste it, sweet, creamy ... right on the very, teeniest, tiniest tip of my tongue. Yep, that first cup HAS to have a bitta sugar. The rest, who cares, lol

 :rose:
Heavens to Betsy... I guess you don't want to hear my story about early morners (sooner than a nooner), aka "a bladder full of hot piss and breath like buffalo shit..."

The sweetner packets are in the jar above the microwave.. ;)

Well, my daughter has requested my famous recipe for Chili Cheeze and Sausage Frito Enchalata Surprise for our Sunday brunch today, so I am off the market for ingredients (read - Wally World for a couple cans of stuff...) so that I'll not disappoint her.

Then I got to figure out how much to feed my cat. My concern for her eating habits has created rather porky looking young lady...

It's all so complicated...

There is a line in the "Grumpy Old Men" movie that has always stayed with me....LOL..dam I loved that movie need to rent it again...anyways one of the old men said "the only regret in his life was the chances he didn't take"...
I can relate to that one Little Bit. It also includes half hearted attempts that were bound to fail for lack of commitment or fear of failure...

Ah, life...

Well now, settle your young self down there little one...

There's a container plumb full of the them little packets of sugar substitutes in the cabinet above the microwave. There is even a history on 'em somewhat, nothing so mundain as we bought those with pennies gleaned from scraping between the cushions of the couch. No ma'am. These are purloined packets. Stolen from the finest eateries in Tulsa and its surrounding townships over the last 20 years.

The love of my life could not help herself. Should she sit down at a restaurant table that had an over-abudance of these little packets, she would grab a handful and throw them in her purse without even so much as a comma's worth of hesitation. Later, when the need to lighten or change purses came along, she would take whatever packets remained in her purse and put them in this jar.

So, this packet of Splenda could be a year old, it could be 20 years old. It could have come from the "choke and puke" just down the road in Hominy, or from "The Charleston" in Tulsa. It is a crap shoot. Good luck.

Or you could consider that the creamer is fairly sweat in itself, and forego the the wander thru the jar of antient sugar baggies...

I am currently tramping back and forth between the computer and my bed... Sunday's seem to always require an extra helping of naps...

:) $

I have a supply of those too. Maybe we should send RF a care-package filled with little blue packetts. :D

Of course with my luck...the Post Office would think I was dealing in something else.

Good Morning Family

Well no telling whats in the coffee today with all this talk so its a good thing I never drink it.

I'll make some more for you guys if you want though.

Beams, so help me I'll even make up that oatmeal recipe RF suggested for your kid to use.(I must be feelin good today ;) )

Morning Chief....Morning Family

Coffees on...I made it a bit on the stong side you might need some extra cream ;)

My word of the day is PRODUCTIVE...NEED to get my butt in gear and get stuff done

Mr.B. has a 11:15 appt at the vet to update his shots...When I move he will also be moving to a new home out in the country. My ex brother-in-law has a 25 acre farm...he will have other cats as playmates and lots of room to roam. The farm is situated on a dirt road with little traffic.

R has a 2:30 Doctors appointment for a recheck on his strep throat.Strange that rash...last night it was pretty much gone from his face but still all over his chest and back...looked awful but never itched...strange

In a little over 3 weeks this house will close....good god...while I have made progress there is STILL so much more to do....Sometimes I survey the house and get overwhelmed so I need to try a different tactic...cause what I am doing now sure the hell ain't working..

Chief....WAKE UP

This Little Lady needs some help this morning....I think I need some motivational music..can't seem to get my butt moving....

Well I'll be Dammed...I can actually SEE the floor in my closet

My Mom's cat does the same thing. I have a scarc on my forearm from the last time she wanted to take him to the vet.......he disagreed

She finally figured out a method though. He is so lazy and out of shape that all she has to do is walk behind him and he moves away. Two times around the couch and he is warn out. :cattail:

Usually my bedroom is pretty much OFF LIMITS to Mr. B.....but I have been in and out of there at least 50 times today...last time I went in he was curled up on a pair of my pants that I left on the bed..The Vet said the shots would make him sore for a day or so....I just didn't have the heart to move his butt...he just looked comfortable and at peace

ANOTHER BAG OF ASSORTED STUFF is making it's way to the curb...that makes 3 for today!!!!!

Update on R..

The rash is scarlet fever...caused by the same bacteria that caused his strep throat. It is starting to clear up some...doc said in 3 or 4 days it should be gone...and then his skin will start to peel kind of like it does from a sunburn. He is a bit concerned because there is protein and blood in his urine and wants it retested tomorrow by the hospital lab.On occasion strep can damage kidneys so he is closely monitoring the situation. The look on my sons face was kind of priceless when the nurse handed R a couple packages of alcohol wipes and the urine container and then proceeded to tell him EXACTLY in specific detail what he needed to do tomorrow ;) ....the strep test they did today came back negative...he is doing better...his girlfriend is here now so he's smiling....the benedryl tends to make him tired and a bit crabby

I picked up some fresh strawberries, angel food cake, and some whipped cream...want to stop by for dessert?
