No need to runnn hon, a brisk walk will serve... :D

Getting back into that bedroom is not going to be a trivial task... It has been a catch all for stuff that still needed sorting and extraneous guitar parefenalia since I decided I didn't like sleeping in there alone. I figure there's at least 4 trips to the local dump just in the first pass.

One good thing about saving some of the sorting till now is that the need to sort has more or less passed. It all goes to the trash! :D

:rose: :)

Oh I don't know... I have to memento of Syb's... I would really appreciate if you set aside something for me, nothing really significant, just something, anything, of hers :rose:

.

OK!! :cathappy: Thank you Macx :rose:

Any news from RJ?

.
Oh my... sorry about that. This weather and the season has me up to my ass in snapping alligators and I keep forgetting to drain the swamp... :D

RJ is doing well in a lot of ways, but they still have some "dialing in" issues. The good news is that his creatin (sp?) level is going down. They measure this to determine the need for dialysis. Anyhow, it is going down and it is his kidney that is lowering it. They are still trying to get the med thing right and his bladder is giving him trouble. One could relate it to somebody who had been a couch veggie for a number of years up and deciding to go to the gym and start working out. His bladder has had nothing to do for a decade and now all of a sudden it is expected to start functioning at a high rate of speed. It is more or less hollerin "WTF" and bitching about all the work...

We still remain hopeful that he will be home in time to spend Christmas with his family. Christmas is pretty much getting just a lick and a promise around here this year what with all the "stuff" goin' on. The Nick unit is a little bummed about it, but is being understanding about it. That in itself, falls under the heading of big time miracles.

:D

Oh, and El says hello to everyone... he has a similar alligator problem.

:) $

Definitely a shock for his bladder. Ohh I so hope it all goes well, it will mean such a change in his life. Keeping fingers crossed here and sending out good vibes over to the West :)

Now what about alligators? Forgive my blonde-ness, you'll need to explain  :D

:rose:

.

No blonde-ness here... it is a redneck colloquialism - you couldn't be expected to understand it if you hadn't run across it before.

It refers to the condition of little emergencies and importancies getting in the way of the task at hand. Phone calls would be one. There you are, trying to decorate the Christmas tree and the damned phone keeps ringing. And your daughter calls and says she forgot her book report and could you bring it to school and... and... and...

"It is hard to think about draining the swamp when you are up to your ass in alligators."

:D :rose:

Gotcha!! Well, let me tell you that for the past two weeks I've been in alligators up to my tits  :D

Hey Beamer... :)

Good to hear about R..., and I imagine the other son is real proud to be headed back to Oklahoma now. Michigan was just dandy, but I was pretty glad to be leaving them and their 45* summer mornings behind.

As for time... Time is all boogered for me now. It seems like it must be something like 10 years since Annie died.

From the looks of the mirror, it might have been 20 years ago...

After a long hectic night at work I was surfing the net trying to unwind before I tucked myself in and ran across this..

It was so cute I had to play it twice

:cattail:
I got to laughing at it... that dog was getting ready to boot her ass if she didn't knock off with the squishy paws trick...

I know how he feels - Ms. Audrey forgets herself sometimes and starts trying to aireate my chest.

Have a good rest Little Bit.

Oh my gosh, CUTE is an understatement!
You know, I used to have that at home, my first dog adored cats and I have witnessed similar scenes. She (the dog) even nursed a kitty that I had taken in... there was no milk of course but the kitty was so needing a mother's love that it would suckle and suckle and curl up against the dog's belly.... it was the most tender and touching sight ever!

Mornin' folks!

Gotta Slurp and Run... haulin' the Nick Unit to a Dentist's appointment at 8:00 friggin' oclock in the morning! It was the only spot open until next year...

The Randy saga continues... his bladder is still giving him fits and they are keeping him until they get that under control. On the good news front, his Creatin level is the lowest it has been in a number of years based solely on the efforts of his new kidney!

Catch y'all later...

Hey Ran, you sure look scrumpcious all decked out like an elf like that... yum! :D

Good thing the holiday season is short lived. My pants are getting a bit tight:eek: These mid-western ladies sure know how to bake GOODIES and then they have to bring them to work so I can sample them...so helpful:rolleyes:

Woke up this morning to find my man watching "Field of Dreams"....such a good movie.

Weather is going to be shit this afternoon hoping that means a quiet day at the store...my "nice side" is wearing a bit thin..

Well enough rattling...more coffee is needed...

Kisses and Hugs Family:kiss:

Coffee,Coffee,Coffee...

Got to close the store 3 hours early last night. The weather was crappy...well not crappy by NY standards but crappy by KC standards...when 3/4 of the stores in the strip plaza were closing I called the district manager..."sure go ahead close"....yipee I was outta there real quick.

I am off today...going to finish shopping...yeah yeah I'm a last minute Charlie:rolleyes:...but I'm going to just stop at the local gas station and get a couple of gift cards for a couple of college kids.

I"m working Chistmas Eve but the store closes at 5 so that's not bad

Hey Chief did RJ make it home?
