The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Yesterday was our Remembrance Sunday so a long one for me as I arrange our services recognising those who have served but particularly our fallen. The day started with a church service at 09.45 then at our war memorial for wreath laying and two minutes silence. We had about sixty people there. Wreaths were laid by a veteran, our primary school kids and our Local Council

I had time for lunch then we had our sunset service at the Quay in the village. It was a beautiful evening and we were led by a junior piper about 13 years old. The names of our fallen were read by the head of our life boat service and the beacon was lit at sunset by our junior football tea. It was another good turn out with about fifty people present.

Now I can relax it’s been a long week.
That looks like a beautiful service and memorial, G!

Thanks for sending the pics.

Good luck today, L2. We’ll all be thinking of you and hoping it’s a successful procedure.
Thanks, everyone
I am home!!
Still loopy and numb (awesome sauce!!!)
Getting a bite to eat then a nap
Stay classy and I'll check in again a little while later
(okay - I'm catching up while I eat, but after that... )

@BlackSatinKnight
@HumpDayHoratio
@subdudeme13

I know I am forgetting a few others. But chime in so we know ya.

Thanks for your service to this great nation. And to all of my brothers and sisters who served.

In the UK it’s known as Remembrance
Day. And if anyone has ever served their nation, a salute to you.

Here, here!!
I echo those sentiments - a hearty Thank You to all who have served!!
We wouldn't have the freedoms we do today without you and I'm very grateful for them.

Okay - that whole "eat something when you get home" took way longer.
Great drugs but they leave you dry as the Sahara!!
I'm off to set up my lap desk in bed
Have to ice and elevate my feet.
Will be interesting.
Exercise ball with my legs up and a wooden lap desk for my tablet on my mid section.
I figure right when I finally get comfy, I'll have to get up to pee :ROFLMAO:

It's a light allergy that affects my autoimmune disease. I've never been tested though. I don't have the signs for it.

Light like uv or a mild allergy? I have a uv light and house dust mite allergy which affects my auto inflammatory and other stuff.
It’s worth testing, because this stuff can get worse if untreated.

I bought the ace hardware decent ones.... looked just like the filtrete at half the cost.... I am ashamed to say I never thought of changing the filter during the summer..... I told you it is a boy job.... I feel sort of stupid though.... I know better....

I know how to hange i just messed up.... ugh.
Glad it all got fixed.

Light like mild to wheat. I never had allergies until my daughter was born 11 years ago. It's hard to get used to.

I think you used to drop by and say hi to me in my thread back in 2007-2010ish. I remember your AV.

I feel worried right now.... looking for trouble.... lord I hate i do that. And that I whine qbout it..... how weak of me... I need a hug....
