The end of Democracy?

Not like it's funny or anything, but some of the biggest increases (as covered by the press) were the store take-overs and mass smash and grabs. Those were wrong and should be prosecuted aggressively, but they were property crimes against large profit businesses.

The ones I really don't understand are the armed dog-nappings. Those just don't make sense to me at all.

I'm glad these crime rates are down. We can stop all this virtue signaling gun control nonsense now.
I liked your old avatar better.
It made your posts just seem dumb instead of, ya know, putting a face to the dumb.

Socially awkward? That's the best term you can come up with after what has and is accused of doing?
  • Weasling out of military service after going through multiple doctors to find one that would accept his 'bone spurs claim' that he couldn't serve because of it? Played tennis for years well enough to show his awkward ass on TV. Plays golf without hobbling over those bone spurs.
  • Agile enough to have sex wanted or unwanted with multiple women while his wife was pregnant.
  • Has the morality of [fill in your choice here]
  • Said his daughter was hot enough to have sex with.
  • Called wounded warriors stupid for their service.
  • Insulted John McCann's POW time in service. Mocks John, trying to raise his hand. [Asshole D.T.]
  • His niece, a psychologist, says he is unable to admit when he is wrong. A narcissistic person, she said.
  • Built a wall - no pictures for those thousands of miles he said Mexico would pay for.
  • Raised taxes except for the super-wealthy.
  • Used mental telepathy to unclassify Top Secret documents. Gave info out to foreign nationals about some of those plans as bragging points.
  • Said he would release his taxes but didn't until forced to by lawsuits that leaked them anyway.
  • Lies as a matter of daily exercising.
  • Exhibits classic bullying traits.
  • Facing Federal indictments - 91 more or less
  • New York wants to pull his business licenses over fraud. [has that accordion Trump Tower condo square footage issue]
  • Declared he would be a dictator for at least a day - probably had his fingers crossed.
  • Says it is okay to suspend the Constitution to get things done his way.
  • I could go on ... but the point is Donald Trump is more than 'socially awkward.'
Compared to Biden and the fact that Dem policies have driven inflation and eroded 30% of the savings of good circumspect people.
1) I'll forgive something from the 60's...wasn't that when Biden started his long-standing habit of plagarism?
2) Many of the allegations of sexual misadventures have been proven to be false stories created to take him down. Dem integrity doesn't exist. See Kavenaugh hearings.
3) Morality - Biden?
4) His daughter is attractive and he was misquoted. Daily attacks by dirtbag dems every day of his administration twisting words and truth.
5) He honored soldiers and troops throughout his Presidency. He restored funding that Obama had steered towards silly purposes.
6) His policies are correct and to cave to stupid Dem catechisms would be foolish.
7) He did build a wall and Biden's stupid policies that have added 10 million new wards of the state siphoning off funds needed for citizens is evidence of more bad dem policy.
8) President has the authority to declassify documents. Couldn't fulfill his responsibilities in statecraft if he didn't. On the other hand, Biden, when VP, didn't have the same authority.
9) Taxes....Dems said he paid nothing...taxes showed he paid $38M one year. Another example of ruthless Dem persecution and innuendo. Reminds me of Harry Reid, being interviewed when proof showed that his allegation that Romney paid no taxes was found to be the opposite of the truth, said "it worked didn't it?" Shows dem depravity.
10) Lies in the eyes of halfwit dems...who are usually the ones doing the lying. See Harry Reid as a good example.
11) Indictments. For four years all we heard from Dems was "Indictments" and "Russian Collusion". The indictments were vacated when Mueller never provided evidence to support the indictments. These empty indictments worked for the dems through four elections and they're trying the same trick again. However, the other perspective is that the Dems are abusing the law to twist politics to their advantage using vacuous allegations. Like Russian Collusion, nothing will stand.
12) Valuation of assets is a tricky business. All loans were repaid on time. Another picayune, childish allegation. See Harry Reid.
13) The "Dictator for a day" was pulling the media's chain because he promised to issue a bunch of EO's the first day, like Obama and Reid did to undo their declarations by fiat. It was another example of irony, but his problem is that too many people are too stupid to recognize the irony.
14) Irony again, the Dems are continually try to undermine the Constitution claiming that it is an outdated document. See Supreme Court justice confirmation hearings to see for yourself. The irony is that the Republicans are always the ones arguing in the sanctity of the Constitution and use adherence to it as one of their points in Supreme Court hearings.
15) I could go on too. Dem policy is poison.

Now, lets talk about Biden and how Dem policies are destroying the nation and making us all much poorer.

Compared to Biden and the fact that Dem policies have driven inflation and eroded 30% of the savings of good circumspect people. Off subject.
1) I'll forgive something from the 60's...wasn't that when Biden started his long-standing habit of plagarism? Off subject.
2) Many of the allegations of sexual misadventures have been proven to be false stories created to take him down. So there are some you accept, rightfully so. Dem integrity doesn't exist. See Kavenaugh hearings. Off subject.
3) Morality - Biden? Off subject.
4) His daughter is attractive and he was misquoted. Daily attacks by dirtbag dems every day of his administration twisting words and truth.
5) He honored soldiers and troops throughout his Presidency. [He failed to attend ceremonies for them in Europe. It rained that day, so he skipped the ceremony others attended. You ignore my statements about vilifying the hero, John McCain. He refused to visit hospitals for wounded warriors declaring it made him look bad to be seen getting his picture taken.] He restored funding that Obama had steered towards silly purposes. Off subject.
6) His policies are correct and to cave to stupid Dem catechisms would be foolish. Off subject.
7) He did build a wall and Biden's stupid policies that have added 10 million new wards of the state siphoning off funds needed for citizens is evidence of more bad dem policy. [ Two hundred miles of wall replacements doesn't make it a 'wall to keep out criminals, rapists and whatever else he called those looking to reach America.]
8) President has the authority to declassify documents. [Yes. To do that he would have followed the appropriate process - not mental telepathy. Not a document exists to show he followed the process. Even Trump doesn't have one made up after the fact. No one ever received notification of the declassifications, per the legal processes for declassification] Couldn't fulfill his responsibilities in statecraft if he didn't. On the other hand, Biden, when VP, didn't have the same authority. [Correct on this one. He did give them back when he found them. The Feds didn't have to demand that. Biden had them searched for and delivered when found. He owned that. DT doesn't own anything.]
9) Taxes....Dems said he paid nothing...taxes showed he paid $38M one year. [Corporate taxes not personal taxes.] Another example of ruthless Dem persecution and innuendo. Reminds me of Harry Reid, being interviewed when proof showed that his allegation that Romney paid no taxes was found to be the opposite of the truth, said "it worked didn't it?" Shows dem depravity. Off subject.
10) Lies in the eyes of halfwit dems...who are usually the ones doing the lying. See Harry Reid as a good example. Off subject.
11) Indictments. For four years all we heard from Dems was "Indictments" and "Russian Collusion". The indictments were vacated when Mueller never provided evidence to support the indictments. The Russian Collusion, nothing will stand. Off subject.
12) Valuation of assets is a tricky business. All loans were repaid on time. Another picayune, childish allegation. See Harry Reid. [The New York court found him guilty of fraud. It is seeking millions in fines. They are asking for his license to do business in NY to be revoked. Picayune and childish? Not when you are convicted and out of business. It's not difficult to do the math in the evaluation of a property. Its ($$$ per square foot) X (number of square feet). Trump has a problem figuring out if his penthouse is 11,000 or 30,000 square feet that's one of the fraud elements a child could calculate.]
13) The "Dictator for a day" was pulling the media's chain because he promised to issue a bunch of EO's the first day, like Obama and Reid did to undo their declarations by fiat. It was another example of irony, but his problem is that too many people are too stupid to recognize the irony. [People are not stupid, nor too stupid. When it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, you are allowed to call it a fucking duck or Donald Trump if the species fits.]
[Donald Trump doesn't speak in terms of irony. He believes it. He has stated, on record, that the Constitution can be set aside for his purposes as he sees fit. He is a 'Republican.' So Republicans are not always arguing adherence to the Constitution - your declaration is refuted by DT's own words.]
15) I could go on too. [This is obviously truthful.] Dem policy is poison. [Off subject.]

Now, lets talk about Biden and how Dem policies are destroying the nation and making us all much poorer. [Off subject.]
You defend Trump's immoral bent that I pointed out in reply to your comments.

It is not deserved. You are far too intelligent to be defending someone who, in an instant, would knock you down and climb over your body in a crowded theater to get out of a fire.

You cannot even address the statements I made. Instead, you vainly attempt to play the 'look over here' game and accuse others as justification for his actions. Proven over and over again, he lacks moral character, lies, and cheats – and you claim he was pulling the media's chain. That last one is so laughable. Blind men can see through such veiled attempts to obfuscate the truth about Donald. He has no 'good' side. The man is unworthy of the Presidency.

No need to discuss politics at all - just his unpresidential character, ineptitude, and moral turpitude are enough to wretch over the thought of DT in another Presidential term. Defeated by 7 million votes, signals the same repeat for the next one. He has already said over and over and over it will be stolen, like in the last election. He is right in a way. Trump stole four years of America's peace and justice. Perhaps American justice will prevail, and he sees the inside of a cell. I'll raise a glass of lemonade on that day.

Always impressive when members strip down bare the false, misleading, and deflecting claims of others in this manner. Well done! I don’t think you’ve made a dent in RF’s beliefs, but you’ve given ammo to people of good conscience and hopefully deterred other supporters of trump from embarrassing themselves - yeah, I know.

Wow, spreadsheet alt is called up to bat. Too bad it’s a swing and a miss! Woof!

I quoted the relevant federal election laws earlier. And add to that a reading of what the Constitution has to say re. the states organization of elections including the implicit ability to decide who is qualified to run for office.

Now, you, and many others in this thread, are focused on the 14th amendment re. insurrection. Trump hasn't even been charged with that crime but he's been removed from the ballot in two states so far. Those responsible for this have used the 14th as the excuse. My point is that no particular reason need be made at all. What is arbitrary to me may be justified to you, and vice versa. The Sec. of State of Texas, for example, could disqualify Biden on his failure to secure the border,, or the evidence that he engaged in influence peddling even though he's not been charged with any crime. A very real, and dangerous, Constitutional can of worms has been opened.
My only focus on the 14th is how badly its being used in this case I dont see how the Supremes can say it applies, but there are dems that swear by it even though using it denies due process

Explain how, exactly, section 3 of the 14th denies due process. As a starter hint, there is no criminal conviction for section 3. Now you explain how due process works if it the offence isn't criminal?

Or more simply, if you are not found "guilty",just barred, where is the need for due process. Also show me where in the constitution the "inalienable right " to run for office exists?

These doinks don't seem to understand the concept of disqualified. It just means not eligible, same as being under age 35.

If you are over age 35 and were born in the US, but you have not lived in the US for at least 14 years, you are not qualified. There does not need to be a trial to prove you didn't.

This is because there's no legitimate controversy about those things. You either are US born or you're not. You either are at least 35 years old, or you aren't. These things are provable by reference to documents.

Saying Trump is an insurrectionist requires PROOF. At present there's no proof, just opinion.

John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone to American parents....qualified?
Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona territory,,,,,qualified?
If Trump is (G-d forbid) re-elected and trades Puerto Rico for Greenland, can a Puerto Rican who was born under American sovereignty run for President? What about Greenlanders born prior to annexation?

There will always be legitimate controversy.

There will always be legitimate controversy.
I don't see any legitimate controversy over Goldwater or McCain. The Arizona territory and the Canal Zone were US territory and in both cases, their parents were Americans. Some people never get over the third grade lesson where they heard "You have to be born in the USA" and nothing else.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federated_States_of_Micronesia

The FSM is a sovereign, self-governing state in free association with the United States of America, which is wholly responsible for its defense. The FSM National Police operates a Maritime Wing Unit. The Compact of Free Association allows FSM citizens to join the U.S. military without having to obtain U.S. permanent residency or citizenship,[14] allows for immigration and employment for Micronesians in the U.S., and establishes economic and technical aid programs.

I honestly do not know if that allows one born there to be eligible to run.

As for Wake:

Wake Island is administered by the United States Air Force under an agreement with the Department of the Interior. The center of activity on the atoll is at Wake Island Airfield, which is primarily used as a mid-Pacific refueling stop for military aircraft and as an emergency landing area. The 9,800-foot (3,000 m) runway is the longest strategic runway in the Pacific islands. South of the runway is the Wake Island Launch Center, a missile launch site. The military also used the atoll as a processing location for Vietnamese refugees during Operation New Life in 1975. The island has no permanent inhabitants, but approximately 100 people live there at any given time.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wake_Island

If one of those refugees gave birth while there, would the child be eligible to run?

You're a silly girl without the wit to recognize truth.
Geez dude, what was wrong with just calling yourself RightGUIDE (And soemtimes Sugardaddy1?)

You must have been inspired by the Hisarpy/Icanhelp/ChloeTzang/tanjaguar guy. Seriously, one multi-username troll is bad enough. But then again that's why you do it, isn't it.

^^ So what about someone born on Guam, Wake or in the FSM?

If your parents are Americans, you are a natural born American, end of story. It doesn't matter where you're born. This was settled back in the '60s with George Romney, who was born in Mexico to American parents.

Now, in a place like Guam if your parents are not Americans, that might be a bit stickier.
