Does anyone still think 2020 was rigged against Trump?

NOBODY, deep down, really believes 2020 was rigged against Trump. Deep down, everyone knows the truth- Trump lost, fair and square, but like Trump himself, they lack the emotional maturity to admit it, even though the evidence overwhelmingly shows that he lost fair and square. (I mean I get it; I still haven't gotten over the 49ers losing the rigged super bowl, which everyone knows they won fair and square... see what I did here??)

However, they cannot ADMIT it. Even to themselves. To admit defeat, and concede, means admitting they were wrong and they are too proud, and simpleminded to do so. Even Republican leaders like JD Vance know that Trump lost that election. They cannot say so publicly, for fear of appearing disloyal to Trump, but they know the truth.

Hisarpy+50-other-screen-names guy, Kinked-Suck-a-tasty-bit-toy, and The Dude Who Pretends To Be An Asian Woman know deep down as well, who really won in 2020- and it wasn't Trump. Maybe, just Maybe, they'll finally man up and admit it.

NOBODY, deep down, really believes 2020 was rigged against Trump.

NOBODY, deep down, really believes the lies about Trump. Deep down, everyone knows the truth- Trump is a great guy and an awesome President. However, they cannot ADMIT it. Even to themselves. šŸ¤ šŸ˜„

I've been seeing this attitude on the right since Bill Clinton was elected. They seem to have the idea that the Reagan Revolution was once-and-for-all. They simply cannot acknowledge the legitimacy of any Democratic POTUS after Reagan -- any such is an impossible reversal of history, like a Jacobite restoration. In fact, from the Clinton years to now, they cannot even acknowledge the legitimacy of a Democratic opposition in Congress.

What's really pathetic about that is, with Clinton, they always cited the fact that he'd won less than a majority of the popular vote. Nowadays, of course, they never miss a chance to tell anyone who will listen that the popular vote is meaningless. Which, unfortunately, is true - but it was true in 1992 too.

If you think Trump is a great guy, it means you have really scummy values. It means you value dishonesty, misogyny, disrespect, unchecked power, totalitarian government, hypocrisy, environmental destruction, greed, stealing from the poor to give to the wealthy, and contempt for just about everyone. If these are your values, then it follows that you would think Trump is a just fine person. You'd probably think the same of Kim Jong Un, Pol Pot, or Jeffrey Epstein as well.

I do not have such values. Most decent people do not have such values. Most decent people recognize Trumps four years in power for the debacle that it was. Unlike you, I value honestly, decency, justice, freedom, nature, compassion, generosity, and common respect- and because of these things I can never pretend that Trump is a great or awesome guy, but rather a deeply flawed human being who in no way, shape or form deserves to have the reins of power. Especially after his abject failure the first time around.

You don't actually believe that. :)

That's the strangest part. I could imagine voters overlooking Trump's horrible character for the sake of having a leader who can get things done worth doing. But he accomplished nothing worthwhile at all in his first term -- and I've never heard a Trumper even try to argue the contrary. He really is just an avatar to them. They only want him in the WH because he embodies the principle of RW populist nationalism.

I've never even seen you mention anything worthwhile Trump did as POTUS, or might do in a second term.
Oh, you know the drill. No wars (because Putin wanted to wait and see if Trump could pull us out of NATO), great economy (inherited from Obama), he kept out the illegals (except he didn't - more have been deported under Biden), and of course the tax cut for the rich (that one is legit, and it's all most conservatives care about) and appointing three of the Coathanger Five.

I mean, LBJ was a slimeball, but he was also one hell of a can-do president, with amazing policy initiatives and the political know-how to get them through Congress. Trump . . . not so much.

LBJ wasnā€™t a ā€œslimeballā€ā€”he was a shitkicker. Thereā€™s a difference.

He was still a better president than Reagan and Bush(es).

I believe the TRUTH.
You choose not to.
That means deep down you know the truth but cannot accept it, and again this is a sign of emotional immaturity. You find solace in Trump's dark side because his warped values reflect your own, and you see in him a means to fulfill your desire for repression and control, and fetish for dictators.

Several people have been convicted of voter/electoral fraud following 2020.

Strangely, the only cases that come to mind were of MAGATs being criminals. Does anyone need names/sources?

Why bother at this point? Like I said, can't change the past and people need to look to the future.
Because one of the ways we look to the future is by studying the past to see where we've gone wrong. If there was any evidence you'd present it, so that we could make sure it doesn't happen in the future.

I keep thinking about it and since this thread won't go away, okay, I'm open to the thought...

Who's the Chief Gaffer?

This guy had a head injury, like that movie, and is doomed to forgo the past, especially his, completely...

He wonders who made that post. He wasn't logged on.

He and he and he agree,
that you are going to pay
for what you did to we...

I was born in the parking lot
at the Bentonville Wally-mart
end up sputtering
like a fresh-whelped pup
in a Kamala parking lot

I was born in the usa...
... like lee Greenwood I wish I could say...

P-p-p-p........ PRIDE! GAY PRIDE!

There. I said it. Am I off the hook now?

Rick Wilson, one of the founders of the Lincoln Project, recounted in one of his books that True the Vote tried to hire his political consulting firm -- he researched the matter and decided he couldn't take their money, because he would have nothing to work with -- he could find no evidence at all, anywhere, that True the Vote's complaints about voter fraud had any grounding in reality.

Only Trumptards are so dumb.
Andā€¦ racist Trumplikkkans who fear being REPLACED!
Their Orange God brought in foreign workers then.. fucked them over! Maybe not the way Arnold fucked his help! But? Who knows with all employees signing NDAs ???

He does NOT support workers

6 bankruptcies?? What happen to those ā€œjobsā€ he created ??? How many of his own workers are voting for him? How many of those he hired, who were paid well (by US), are coming out against him! And he hires the BEST people! How many were found guilty? Of those how many did he pardon??

U.S. spells us!! Did anyone realize that before this SUPER GENIUS discovered it?

The sad thing is, TRUMP DID accomplish many things in his first term. People on here have cited these things and taken pride in them.

The problem is, these accomplishments WERE BAD FOR THE COUNTRY.

They'll happliy cite how he withdrew form the Paris climate accords and gutted environmental regulations. So now, global warming and violent weather is accellerating and there are more poisons in the air, soil, and water- and somehow this is a good thing?!?

They'll gleefully point out how he stacked the Supreme Court with activist justices, and now for the first time, women have fewer freedoms than in any generation within the last 70 years- and somehow this is a noble accomplishment?

They'll point out how he cut taxes, and now as a result, the poor and middle class pay more, not less, taxes- but hey, he "Cut taxes," even if only for the very wealthy, so that's "good-" I guess?!?

He pulled out of a peace treaty with Iran- and now Iran is a threat to the greater Middle East and the world. Brilliant! Just Brilliant! What an accomplishment!

He botched the pandemic response and even threatened to pull the U.S. out of the World Heath organization (during a pandemic.) Millions of people died as a result. "Let them die and decrease the surplus population!" - said brilliant buisnessman and Trump protege Ebenezer Scrooge.

I could go on, but the thing is, people cite accomplishments like this and promote them as "Good" for the country- when they were in fact disasterous for the country.

As for his second term- pretty much everything he has proposed should make any decent, freedom loving American recoil in horror. The mere fact he is not in prison for the crimes he committed on Jan 6th (for example) is proof that something is deeply wrong with our country- and that certainly isn't Harris. It's people who, rather than standing up to the face of wrongdoing, actively participate in it.
