The Halloween 2024 Official Contest Support Thread!

That is because I am a master baiter, yes I am. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I slay me. Hee hee. Ahhh.
Ha! Fun fact - there are no less than 13 Literotica members with masterbaiter in their handle! I only know this because one of them follows me and has left some really nice comments. It's almost like everybody here has sex on their minds. :) Thanks for the reply and your kind words. I'm sure that some of your regular readers will spot the joke instantly - of course, for those who don't and enjoy the story on its own terms, that's fine too :)

I also find that NonHuman tends to vote more leniently than Romance and Mind Control, but given those are the only three categories I publish in (soon to add How-To to the mix as a bonus cookbook chapter of my novel goes there)

Anyway, back to my scheduled session of self-advertisement.
What is "advanced sexism"?
This is an excellent question! What is advanced sexism? How much of readers should be alienated by it? Was my sexism advanced enough? Will I make it to the competitive sexism pro league one day?

All those questions are for the readers to decide, as I will not spoil anything.

My two original ideas had to be scrapped. But then I thought about it and came up with an ultimate horror, unlike anything that was ever written. My writing ability had most probably sabotaged me once again, plus I submitted at the last moments without a chance to call for editors help, but still.

Please meet the Irr... *ahem*, the "Irresistible Doctor Frank Stein". Yep, that's totally how I spelled it, first try.

Someday, I'll even write a story and then, maybe, have someone read it before I publish. Or proofread it. Or something. But that's for another day!
Get's drum out and bangs it. If nothing else use a text to speech aka Read aloud, tool. (👂waiting for echo from SimplyStunned)
If you DM me (from my story page*) about proofreading we can discuss, but as I haven't read any of your stories I'm not promising anything, except to respond to the DM!

*possibly you should check if we have any wavelength in common (offer not exclusive but time not unlimited)

The contest ends today I suppose. I’m making an effort to read every entry and leave a comment, with dubious hope of success.
I’m resisting the urge to skim, but some beg for it. I can be a flaming buttholio at times.
Many more are top-shelf. My favorites are more layered than simply graphic, raw monkey sex, and I rate them accordingly.
You Brits are a randy lot, I must add.
Please. Crack on.
Here’s a cheery tune to brighten your day, closer to my stump jumping moonshine-sipping roots.
I’m always impressed by the fact there are two guitars here, playing in tandem.
Onward. Through the fog.

Remember - Winners will be announced on: October 30, even if submissions close now. Presumably that gives you a little more time to settle back, read, and enjoy the monkey sex before the final votes are tallied?

That's a lovely sunny day tune!

*Banging head against the wall*
Only after my story got approved have I noticed that there's a typo - in the story title of all places!

Oh well. Will probably wait for it to get published to submit edit request.
Just another possibly useful tip. This only works if you select a mono-spaced font like courier for the text in blue, text in green doesn't matter. I put the two 35 and 60 character rulers at the top of my document and then experiment with titles and summaries to fit in the limits. (this case, the original working title and the probable final one) I also plan my tags, limit 10 of them, and you can copy and paste them in, but not all at once as there seems to be a limit there - try three at a time. This means you can plan it before you are faced with the New Story Screen and avoid typos or titles running out of spac
I delete the text before submitting the file for publication. I find it helps and as ever YMMV.

Appreciate the suggestions!

Thanks for that Freya 👩‍🦰.
It comes from my early internet days of news groups. (many to prevent flame wars - ie heated arguments)
AFAIK / AFAIR / AFAICR As far as I know/recall/can remember
IIRC If I recall correctly
ISTM It seems to me
SWMBO She who must be obeyed. alsi HID Her indoors (before PC days and when it was mostly men on line)

I forgot one (of many)
IYSWIM If you see what I mean.
In the late 80s early 90s download speeds were 0.0024 MB so you needed to keep text messages short!
IANAK I am not a lawyer
IMHO In my humble opinion (usually not at all humble)
IMNSOHO In my not so humble opinion
DFM Don't Flame Me (simpler than <Flame proof suit> I'm infallible </Flame proof suit> )
https://www.keno.org/web_design/acronyms.htm has a long list but misses some I know, possibly a bit British.

IYKWHIMAITYD: "If you know what I mean (and I think you do)"

It's either a typo, or was a desperate attempt for old men to write an acronym that wasn't IANAL
In the world of attorneys, K is used to refer to Contracts. It is one of the ways to differentiate between Civil Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure and any other field with a C (Copyright among others!). (And I am a lawyer!) (And I am a boomer!)

So avoiding IANAL, then.

Thanks for that! I really like getting comments and I've had some really good ones, which is tremendously morale boosting. I've had a few negative ones, some of which I learn from and some that I simply delete. I appreciate constructive criticism and will usually leave them alone, but really don't like the insulting ones.

In one respect, I'm really chuffed with the huge number of reads, it is now my second most read story. I'm sad about the few number of votes, I don't think I'll even qualify at this rate. But I've picked up a number of followers and a few people have favorited a whole bunch of my other stories, so I guess the positives out weigh the negatives.

Nope. Not in the least. In fact, well.....
Sorry to create/spoil everyones fun - was a fumble finger slip - or Freudian one - it is of course IANAL and not being a Lawer I wouldn't know about the use of K for Kontract 😏.

Please type out a hundred times I well nit rust a posy.
100 x I will not rush a post! Done! 😁
