I will say this, Going Batty was FUN to write. An enchanter who makes sex toys making a Ghost Hands cock ring and losing control of it? Elise will likely get a short series of stories later on, the possibilities are endless.

absolutely, I'd like to think that is the reason all us hobby writers are here for... We love what we do, and if we pick up and find others that also do, it's a bonus
I hope to finish mine this weekend then edit the crap out of it as I'm sure there's typos in there. Although I'll find the worst ones After I post the story !

One down! This one I'm hoping comes across with a sense of humour buried in it. Would you use links to the Mob to scare of a husband from digging into your affair?That's what somebody thinks to do in Losing Your Head Over Love. I felt it was one of my weaker stories to date, but lol, doing way better with the readers (so far!) than expected. Goes to show I know naff all about what people like to read

Unfortunately, when there is a sweep, my rating seems to stay about the same. So, whatever metric is used to sweep out low scores, must also sweep out scores from loyal readers trying to help me. Whatever. I am quite proud of this story and it actually has garnered some comments from other authors which rarely happens for me, so that's a nice little bonus!

I thought my Halloween Contest entry was a little too much (multiple suicides, death of a little old lady, a woman accidentally sawing through -- well, a lot of blood), but this story has actually been doing quite well with a lot of positive comments. I'd say go for it!!

Mine has turned to new and due to go up with the next batch of stories in about 10 hours time. I can still see the tag and note for the competition so hopefully that means I entered it right.

I got the same thing. It was riding high at 4.8+ early when it was mostly my followers reading and then down to 4.32 when the readers started to realize that it's a cuckold story at heart. It's slowly starting to creep its way back up.
For those who haven't dropped by yet, A Fortunate Man is a witchy story. I knew the content would be an issue but I'm not all that worried about being competitive. This just for fun and I write what pops into my brain.

Finished my story and submitted it. Was fun to write, turned out pretty long though. Funny how some stories just develop a life on their own like that. Will look forward to checking out the other entries
