Funny thing is, I have experienced the opposite. I have sent a few ladies some good conversation starters that were not sexual and I never got responses back...:( May be I'll send you a PM just get a conversation going...

I like getting PMs. I think they are fun and I usually try and respond as soon as I get one unless it just says "Let's fuck!" or some other variant of that. (Exclamation points are death, fellas.) Like others have said, put at least a little thought into it. It's just a PM and I'm not expecting Shakespeare so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but a coherent thought would help.

I've had some fun conversations with folks on here and I've had some real duds. Sometimes it takes a few to realize you're on different planets and no, I don't really want to spend two hours talking about my feet. I mean, I get that you want to indulge your fetish, I really do, but once it's clear I'm not interested, why keep pushing?

Same thought goes for Yahoo or whatever. I'm aware of what it is and how it works, you really don't need to tell me why it's better than a PM.

Email or instant messenger is sometimes easier (once you are comfortable with the person) because there is no storage limits. Sometimes I have tried to send an email on here to someone only to find their mailbox is full.

Not sure what the "magic" opening line to begin a conversation with someone is ... but I'm sure "Let's Fuck" or "Wanna Fuck" is not on that list... I usually try "Hi" and provide a compliment about a photo that was posted. Even then, that sometimes results in no response.

Life goes on though.

I think it would be fair to say that the ladies here would most likely want us to engage in a reasonable conversation with them in email ... versus asking them to send us a PM.

I believe this was the intent of the thread...
