Real life has a way of continuously dumping all the things all over me. I've missed your face, too.

Soft lips curve in a subtle smirk as emerald eyes lower to the damp black tank top covering her chest. She lifts a toned shoulder in a shrug.

I wouldn't have come to a pool if I didn't want to get wet.

Well that's not very nice of real life, I'll have to have a word with it.

And the water's lovely, the pool isn't too cold and of course the ocean is always divine. I'd definitely recommend either. Or both!

Her gaze lifts to the ocean as it crashes endlessly against the shore.

I think I'll partake in the ocean a bit later. She and I have always been good friends. Thank you, gorgeous. It's good to see you, too. It sucks having to be away.

Pulling on a cardigan, she picks up an under the sea themed cocktail and sits down on a lounger, legs tucked underneath her, looking out at the sea.

I'm not too bad at all thanks, Nice, the Spring was hard work...as it usually is in my job...but the summer is just about here and I can have a few weeks to myself before the new year of school starts and the whole crazy cycle begins again!

And I love the toast, Serps. But I don't have any drink left to toast with...yet!

With a fresh brightly coloured cocktail in her hand, Brit heads back to sit beside the pool, this time with her feet dangling in the water while the sun dries off her suit and hair from her previous dip.

Raising her glass in the direction of all those currently on the deck before taking a generous mouthful.

*smiles and heads back behind the bar to mix a quick drink.* So had there been any further talk on when those classes will be starting?

Not that I know of, but there'll be news soon I'm sure. Shark's the man to ask about those sorts of things though.

Sandals, darkly-colored board shorts that reached to his knees, a white t-shirt... it was summer, why dress up? Sunglasses and a red bucket hat were added as well, something to shade him from the sun a bit. Winter was well and truly dead, and the sun seemed closer than ever. Perhaps that explained why he found people already around the pool, drinks in hand, feet in the water.

"Hello, all!" he called out with a wave, dipping behind the bar to find his jar of homemade spiced rum, and a clean glass.
