The real life Jussforfun

I only knew juss from the 'only questions' thread, but he was always so much fun there, with a great sense of humor. I can only imagine the pain and sorrow his family and friends feel now. My prayers for you all.

My thoughts and prayers today are with both Juss' and Moon's families and loved ones. We will miss you both, more than you could ever know.

Scobee... may you be comforted in the memory of the friendship that you shared with Jon.

PG... may you be comforted in the memory of your time together and the love that you shared for each other. Hugs and love to you honey!

Okay, here is the poem/song I wrote for Jon. It was inspired from the song 'The Long Goodbye' by Brooks & Dunn.

I know they say if you've lost somebody
you should let them rest,
let them rest in peace.
I know they say if you're in disbelief.
crying won't help the cause (or so they say).
but those words don't help us so,
cause we're still morning him.
We've spent each day waiting for a miricle,
but it's just us climbing up a hill...

This is the long goodbye,
somebody tell me why,
why people will say rest in peace
when to us he's still alive; free.
Jon was someone, who to us was kind,
never afraid of what was on his mind.

An avid swimmer, pilot, football player...
lover, brother, and a friend to all, he was -
generous, caring, never outspoken.
He was the man we loved, and shared our laughs with.
The man that we'll truly miss through and through.

This is the long goodbye,
somebody tell me why,
why people will say rest in peace
when to us he's still alive; free.
Jon was someone, who to us was kind,
never afraid of what was on his mind.
