Where better to discuss plot ideas than a brothel? ^_^ I would love to have your input, minx, I've read some of your work and its wonderful.

Ok, this is a departure from what I had earlier, but its sci fi tastic, so prepare yourselves...

A machine, in space, called what can be translated as "The Library." It houses the collective knowledge of all sentient species in the galaxy. It sends observer-probes to planets capable of life. A benevolent creature, there are nonetheless races aware of its existence who would plunder its knowledge and destroy it, in order to establish dominion over everyone else. Think of it like a space-born library of alexandria.

At the dawn of humanity, when it became clear that the life on earth had developed sentience, it sent a mechanical womb deep underground, housing an artificially born girl. She was held in partial stasis until modern day (2800 approx.) She grew with each advance of the human race, the machine allowing her body to slowly mature over time. In the mean time, she lived in a dreamworld, like the matrix kinda. To her, her life has been the normal life of any girl from culture X, whether it be ancient or otherwise. Or just a straight up wierd dreamland, it doesnt really matter for plot purposes, although characterization would stem from this.

She awakes when the earth has become beyond saving. (Pollution, overpopulation) She holds the accumulative knowledge of the entire race, as well as the plans for the warp drive. (Not star trek, lol.) Which works by shrinking the fabric of space in front of the starship, and expanding the space behind it. The ship then travels, as does a surfer on a wave, at faster than light speeds.

Although the Library is her mother, and her father human knowledge, she has no knowledge of this thing that birthed her. But it contains that which can save us.. (The location of a warm planet with oxygen and water.) The thing tells of its own location to her. When they arrive, they must contend with the species hostile to the library, as well as other unforeseen circumstances.

*takes a deep breath.*

Anyways, I don't care if you want to be the Library-girl or someone else, but one of us should play her, I think.

Thank you Wayward! I'm reading your thread with Marauder actually - The Training of a Captive Seafarer. I've much enjoyed myself so far, it's an interesting plot and I look forward to seeing how the two of you develop it!

That said, you gave Marauder full control and dominant role?! Hahaha! Watch out for those curve balls hunny he tends to throw some fucking good ones and you gotta know how to knock them outta the park!

I like this story by the way, it's like the Matrix meets Star Trek crossed with a Johanna Lindsey novel I read awhile back. Have you decided on what kind of advanced technologies she'll have? Cause I've always liked the idea of the 'Medi-Cap' (short for Capsule) which is a coffin shape box and the person placed inside can be practically near death but the Medi-Cap fixes any disease or injury inside of ten minutes with the person just tingling as it works. Very cool idea

Oh and sorry I didn't see this earlier, I was lost to a Taking Online Offline post and it devoured me as it so often does.

Yeah I mean, ive decided they will have genetic engineering, and having an AI aboard the ship could be an interesting NPC. body reconstruction could work, and cut down on NPC's we would have to do, like a medic.

As far as the rest, I mean, I think were good with lasers. I know its kind of ambiguous, considering not explaining the technology, but hey, its sci fi, not a friggin science journal.

On that note, the AI has some pretty intense philosophical issues that I think I'd rather blow my brains out than contemplate, let alone solve.

Wayward, I'm reminded of a story I started and failed at (short story, not SRP) where a woman is on a two-man exploration vessel and she's able to go out in almost any environment because of an organic suit that can protect her from any environment, some amounts of damage, and feed her and keep her alive through almost anything. It turns out the suit is sentient (at least, she thinks it is) and they end up in love...I thought that the idea of this covering having sex with her was HAWT

Okay no so that was a lie but he gives as good as he gets and has fucked me over, surprised me and outdone me and my expectations many times over. That bastard has some balls though and some definite creativity - I honestly wouldn't be jumping too quick to get punished there.

My character once used a bed sheet to get some books that were out of reach of her ankle manacle and chain which was breaking the rules. He made me wait like six posts or something to find out what the punishment would be (he REALLY didn't like how good that curve ball was) and then I exploded all over Literotica when it finally came like a month after the initial post. He took the bed, not just the pillows, not just the linen or the mattress but the entire frame as well!

He made her sleep on the floor! She got the books and then threw them at him in a fit and lost those too hahaha which was another curve ball of mine. And he has had so many moral dilemmas to work through as well. So basically she's butt naked sleeping on cement and chained to a pole that runs the length of the room (so she can move around).

And right now she's getting punished again for mouthing off swear to god he should just gag her and be done with it!

EDIT: So with that punishment of the bedframe and the waiting - really both writer and character were being punished >.<
