Thread and writer appreciation thread

<3

Thanks, you.

Anytime, evil one. :rose:

Thank you, Milady Wolf. I do have to say that LI inspires me. It's nice to know that there are readers enjoying the story as it unravels as much as (and if I may speak for LI for a moment)he and I take pleasure in spinning it.

LI is one of the few male writers who I feel forces a woman to write above and beyond herself. (Veroe, Erlind, chgris, Fr33k, M13 and Rider round that small list out) So it is a pleasure to read his words, especially if his co-writer puts the same amount of care and craft to her part as HE does to his.

It has been enjoyable thus far. And I assume, it will only get better.

I am flattered to be among the names on that list Luna. Though I'd add Musicankane and LucianDevine to that list. And I'd invite you to check one of their threads out and see if I'm wrong on those additions.

I'm always surprised to find out someone is reading what I write other than whoever is adding their own talent to the thread. I am proud to have made it onto this list. Lit has a lot of talent and I should take the time to read more of what that talent produces.

That's what this thread is here to help promote Erlind. :)

Will do, Veroe.

I had told you, long ago, that I love the way you write...that hasn't changed. In fact, you seem to get deeper/slightly more darker/just that much more awesome...every time I follow up in one of your threads.

I'm extremely flattered to be on that list Ms. Luna. Much like Erlind, it's a little surprising and flattering to find out that someone else is reading what I'm putting out there :)

I was prowling through the older lounge threads, and I noticed that there were some recent posts here. So, I scrolled back, and found this post.

Luna, thank you. It is nice to know that I am viewed as someone who helps the other writer raise their game. I have found more than one writer who does the same for me as well. And I am most honoured to be included with some rather capable male writers.

I normally avoid posting in Lounge threads, but thought I’d make an exception and mention a few names on Lit that have caught my attention.

When I started on Lit, there were three names that paved the way:
MrAdam: The first SRP partner I had. I still remember being so nervous writing a sex scene that I did everything in the thread to avoid it. Thankfully, he was patient, gentle and so romantic.
Rick957: A truly talented and truly terrifying person to write opposite. He was wicked and really pushed my personal limits as a writer, which I am thankful for.
Lucifers Tongue: A talented writer that managed to conjure a character that had incredible depth that my character could drown herself in.

Some of the current writers on Lit that frequently have me riveted to my seat:
CGRaven: A true dominant whose actions are reflected in his writing. You can be guaranteed that his writing partner will be put through her paces, pushed out of her comfort zone and exploring new things in the BDSM sphere of writing.
Marauder13: An incredibly detailed writer that enjoys handing the reigns to his characters and letting them decide, sometimes with dire consequences. I still remember shouting at him because he shot Alana’s character ... evil man! He often keeps me in the dark and till this day, I still don’t know where we are going with Bane, but it makes every post an adventure and I love it.
Veroe: For someone who is new to the BDSM world ... my god. You had me - hook, line and sinker - from the very first word. He is an extremely detailed writer who puts a great deal of thought into his writing, which is such a joy to work with, because he gives you so many angles.
Erlind: I have never been a big fan of werewolves, but you can stalk my ass any day. He is officially the first person that has ever managed to write one of my characters into a corner, and it wasn’t for a lack of trying to evade him either. Impressive.

Some of the talented writers that I have had the privilege of writing with include Gagonthis, LucianDevine, Musicankane, Black Bart, Kircanos, HyddenDesires and Kittenofdeath. Writers that I watch with interest includes Tio_Narratone, Last_Rider, Light_Ice and The_PG ... and I’m wondering why all four of them have a ‘_’ in their name ... a sign I think.

A writer that I am missing is Litshark. A wickedly twisted mind that could weave a tale of despair with a strong sadist undertone. Writing opposite him, was definitely not for the weak-hearted.

Along the way I have made some wonderful friends, and I thank you all for that. I have even made friends with fantastic female writers on Lit: Yeishia, Alana and VT, whom I miss terribly.

A special mention needs to be made of A_Libertine ... you know why.

If I did not mention you, please don’t feel offended. The incredible writing talent on this site is tremendous, so keep it coming. (Sorry for the very long post Veroe, I can’t help myself)

Actually, I do not have a _ in my name. I joined before spaces were not allowed in your handle.

Thank you Dee. Coming from a writer that I admire as much as I admire you that means a great deal to me. Thank you so much.

Peiclitatio Serva with Marauder 13 and MsAphrodite. Only starting, but it's already skilfully written, with two very talented writers. I'm reading something that wouldn't be my norm, but I trust M's threads always and he's opening up my understandings of some things. Not all, but some. This thread I'll be watching.

and The Burlesque lounge in the Lounge. I don't visit the lounge much, but when I see certain names pop in that thread, I visit as some of the writing there is terrific. I won't go into names as there's too many posting there, but it's a great little show case of some writing.

I'll try read some more when my time allows. But there are some terrific writers here that I enjoy reading in individual posts, even if I can't find the time to read the full thread. Well done.

A Lesson Learned - Luna_Wolf72 and Sasha25. Wonderful thread, I'm still going through it because it's a very involved story and I sometimes need to come up for air. Extremely well done and very evocative.

Thank you very, very much. I have much to thank Luna for helping me get better as a writer.

Managed to get another little bit of reading done this morning.

Nothing like old times. With Britwitch and Marauder13. Simply beautifully written by both of them. The stories lovely, and with a sexiness that's more erotic than blatant. But only to be expected by two such great writers. Well done.

Wow, thank you very much for saying so  awww, am all blushy now! Lots of credit to the marvellous Marauder though for tweaking an idea and helping it become this thread!

Glad you've enjoyed it so far and hope we won't let you down as Heather and Wendell continue to get 're-acquainted' ;)

My Letter To You ~ Trudee and Marauder13

This is a wonderful concept for a story and with two amazingly talented writers it's turning into quite the read. Love letters left for one love are found by another...it's got drama, passion and it's only on it's second page of posts! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something to read!

its always fabulous when its enjoyed.
I love writing with marauder and i love the story. Thank you very much for the feedback. :rose:

This thread is definitely underutilized. I need to make a few shout-outs.

First, Luna, who's been an amazing co-writer for a thread I started with her a few months ago, and am still enjoying. It's a dark, dark storyline, and writing with her is forcing me to step up quite a bit. It's one of my favorite writing experiences.

Secondly, DemureDryad, who has been co-writing another story with me. She's sexy, and sweet, and it's been a lot of fun working with her.

A couple of threads I like. Recently I found Pandora's Box, by Soru and Mephistophelily. I enjoyed reading through that one.

Also, another bit of praise for The Vassal Academy. It had been on something of a hiatus, but recently has come back. It's gone on a very long time, with multiple writers. Some of the names have changed, but it gives me hope in the ideas of sustaining long-term group threads. It's definitely worth a good read-through even from the beginning, if you ever have the time.

Agreed and thank you kindly. I'm total rubbish. Luckily I have Lily to pick up my slack. Like I said before, she just shines.

I think you've done a great job in that thread. I enjoy your writing style.

Also, I get amusement from seeing the title, "Pandora's Box-Open"
Grins. Almost as thought it was part of the actual title.

Well thanks again. I'm a terrible self-critic and she's just sooo much better than me. It's a whole "student surpassing the master" sort of thing.

... and yeah, I really wish I could change that. I've gotten too many PMs from people wanting to join in. At the time I was open to the idea, but that was a few years ago. The thread evolved since then.

*hugs him and grins at Noon*
Oh please. He's playing modest. Mister manages to channel Pithos so well...
And I like wriling him up to GET him to take it out on Dora.
(Like... Uh, recently, if you cant tell.)

Thank you, Noon. Like I told Fishy.... Its nice knowing there's others reading.
:)
