I love the AV, but then I know what it is.

Title;

There is a punters (betting) phenomenon in Britain at present where wagers are taken not on scores or which team will win but on things like : how many yellow cards will be shown, what times in the match a goal will be scored and so on. I'm not entirely certain but the bet is something like the bookie will give odds on 3 yellow cards being shown and the punter bets there will be more or less and depending on how many more or less determines the stake and the prize.

Bearing this in mind and other connotations the first word then I suggest;

Spread bet.

Well, to make a long story short, I had a death in the family and also working a lot this summer. So I haven't been able to venture on as much as I was. I have missed not posting a lot but real time kinda took over for a while. Thanks for asking.
