TSCLT 11.0: The pantheon hates a pussy!!!

Lack of sleep and over-caffeination.

Plus some of the absolute stupidity I run across in the threads, "triggers me."

;) ;)

Allah H. Fuck, there be some st000pid, ain't it?

Got some crap to get done this weekend - or to get started. We'll see. Which reminds me, I have to score an oil filter for the old truck.

That one was broken in right. It don't use but a quart between changes, which is ti say, it's a quart low when I change it. But I'm changing it, so that adds the quart that it is seeking. So I never add oil. 205K and counting.

Breaking in engines still matters . . . .

Engines. I think that's one of the most serious advances in automotive technology, engines and the fact that if you keep the oil changed they damn near last forever. Most modern engines will go 200K+ miles before they need any serious work done on them. All that investment in SPC and SQC equipment and technology really started paying off in the 90's.

Agreed on the breaking in properly.

That's one thing I always worry about the F150, was it broken in right?

Then again, the previous owner was a real old geezer, so it most likely was...

My new one seems to have been. The car wasn't. The new truck was one owner and the car was a lease.

So, no leases, no rentals, and no fleets. They drive 'em like raped apes. And if it's no more than 5-6 years old, no second owners.

The big bike, I had to break in twice. Original jugs and new jugs. It doesn't use oil, either.

Anvils, we drive like we stole, so . . . . :D

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

I drive so sedately that I piss off octogenarians who are
in the left-hand lane with the blinker on the whole time
driving 15 miles per hour below the speed limit.

They should never post the minimum speed limit on the Interstate.
Too many old people take it as an invitation to piss us off.

;) ;) :p

I'm at 170K right now. About the only thing I need to do coming up is new timing chains and tensioners.

Dawn is breaking and the windmills to the east are spinning.

Which leads me to a question I'm pondering over coffee: Looking down at the Earth from the North Pole, the Earth is spinning counter-clockwise. Does the moon circle the Earth counter-clockwise too?

There's a phrase which will go the way of the dodo. Which way do digital numbers spin?

I reckon that it'll get replaced with "this way an' that way."

Mostly loaded up. Gonna go hit the breffeses bar and then the road.

I better not see no weasels . . . .

I think the planets go around the sun counter-clockwise too. I read about an accretion disk once. I think. Maybe SeanH told me about it.

I'm at the point I have to forget old things to make room in my head for new things. I wonder why everything goes the same direction.

A lot of us have FIFO stacks for brains.

I think I'm a bit more LIFO anymore.
I can never find my truck keys...

I might be immune to Scotch.

I'm a wee bit Scottish, but more'n a bit Irish and Irish Whiskey definitely drunkifies me. I'm a lot German and don't much like bier.

I've discovered that the Scotch is better in a frozen Sundae dish than room temperature. I keep trying a wee bit more to find my tolerance, and I'm not getting drunk on 86 proof Glenmorangie.

Could be that I'm just too out of sorts with my ailment to notice the drunk.
