What about this?

Home/motel. In for the night. Caught a sandwich for supper.

We actually got a work weasel to climb under the crawl space in building B to staple wires. Claims they're all done. Correctly. We'll see . . . .

The landscapers worked until the rain ran them off. The floor guys are kicking ass. The second crew. The first crew didn't get it, but this one does. And they aren't very weasely, either.

There may be hope yet . . . .

The dealer told me that my light would be in in 7 to 10 business days. The e-mail in my inbox says it'll be delivered in Saturday's mail.

So do I. It's a darker shade of a color called Autumn Bronze that was used on '66 Olds. For the life of me I don't know where they came up with that name, it was more of a metallic Burgundy (and no, I'm not color blind). I had that color on my '66 442 hardtop. I really liked that car. I had a '66 442 convertible at the same time. I liked the hardtop better.

This is identical to my hardtop right down to the red lines. The exception being I had black wheels with baby moons.

I had a '67 C/S with the 330/320 and a 4-speed - factory. It was champagne with a black vinyl top.

I wrecked it in a ditch one night. Tore the front end all to fuck.

I shoulda bought a Roadrunner to replace it . . . .

The H/T was an automatic and the conv. was a 4-speed. I sold them both when I married the first wife. Two big mistakes there. Selling the cars and marrying her. Did get two sons that turned out great out of her though so I suppose I should call it a wash.

I shoulda bought a Roadrunner to replace it . . . .

I remember riding down to Alyeska and back for skiing, back in 1971 in the back of a Roadrunner. I remember it being a really tight back seat. And, with the big-ass tires on the back, a squirrelly ride in the snow.

Happy Friday!!!

It's raining out there. Sounds like the proverbial cow pissing on a flat rock. I reckon that's be rain falling on paved surfaces.

Slept fer shit. Don't know why. Already reserved the room for next week. May be here next weekend, if necessary. We'll see.

I get to sleep in my bed tonight, with my cats . . . .

On the back side of the can, it claims to be packaged and distributed by an Actual Beanery.

Praises to Allah, it's more drinkable than what comes out of the oil tank.

Home!!! As in Chez Wat home. Cats are good, and eathing. So is Wat.

Wat has just about gotten the interiors done, thanks be to Allah. There's one turd to iron out in one unit - it'll wait until Monday.

Meanwhile, Le(a)d Guy checked behind Wat's checking behind Butch, and the subsequent report from Wat of Epic Failure in that one unit. Butch had one job to do . . . . Le(a)d called Boss Butcher, and he was rather pissed. Butch was allegedly on the way to the job when Wat split. He also alleged was going to work Saturday to sort it out. We're tacitly wagering that Butch is out of a job when he finishes this one.

Who says that Karma isn't a bitch??? No one whose opinion matters . . . .
