Got my seventh tire in today. This one is my full-sized spare on a factory alloy. Since tires and country of origin has been in the news I checked. Turkey. The four I purchased from Tire Rack are Indonesian. The rather expensive, 60 series low profile to fit in the trunk on a factory alloy is Korean. The factory donut is a 12 years old Bridgestone made in Japan and I've got a lot of miles on it. Hence the regime described above. It *looks* great, but I should toss it.

and I need to get some grass seed out where the yard was dug up.

Sounds like it's been dripping out there for much of the night. I wound up staying in, and then conked out early. Got a bit of reading in.


I bought a motorcycle rider safety book. According to a study he references, nearly a third of head impacts are in the jaw area. Si it looks like a full-face helmet is a must. And Dale Earnhardt might agree.
