Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

This thread will continue to get push-back from people who take themselves too fucking seriously, have no sense of humor, and who delusionally think that anyone outside their bro patrol gives a thin-sliced fuck what they think (used quite loosely) or say, ad nauseum.

StG44 7.92x33, first true intermediate cartridge assault rifle.

I own the GSG .22lr copy.

I'd like one of the Real Deal.

I think I saw somewhere recently that someone (now I'm wishing I had paid moar gooder attention) was considering making a reproduction of the StG. It was delayed.

I liked it in Fury that Wardaddy was using one. I seconded that choice. Pity the US didn't make something similar until a bunch of years later.

Like the good people who post here, when they leave, I hope it's because they got a life or something good like that.

The bad ones? A painful death is too good for them. :D

I run to trouble every night that I come home to a house that has been left to the wills and devices of cats.

Think about it. Each day, I leave them with semi-auto rifles, ammo, two copies of TM31-210, and household cleaning supplies, powder, primers, and a touch of petroleum distillate.

Ours is a Delicate Balance on the precipice of Immediate Annihilation.

Yes, his article is pathetic. There are YouTubes of kids shooting ARs and enjoying themselves and not being a menace to Society, but because of the rules around here, I won't link any.

I'd be happy to teach you what I know about shooting. It's basic eye/hand coordination, and even poor coordination can be improved with practice and instruction.
Thanks. I've been pistol shooting since 12.

Hand-eye coordination was always good in me. I was a pinball wizard. Very fast accurate typist. Xlnt on cpu keyboard.

Brain-body coordination was my problem. Resolved now. Even with a disability inflicted by order of Vlad the Impaler of Moscow, Not-In-Idaho.

Learned the M1 Garand adapted to .22s at 14.

Year before learned to fight with straight razor.

I like going to the range for discipline and sense of achievement. But i have lousy eyesite. Hunting/sniping is too manly for me. Love the girl gun. In a small purse.

For me firearms are close proximity items. I see a sidearm as the heavy finale in a short playlist that begins with a fistful of dirt.

Then cayenne or other red pepper in a small bottle with sifter removed and top left one turn from off.

Hand-eye, yes.

Then: weps from knife/razor/broken glass through to hazmat.

The essence, the fuel, the ammo is attitude.

Okay, the second book is available. The first is Kindle, and I'm not there yet. Still like printed matter. I downloaded the Lightnin' on the iTunes and it's been coming up. Like it. I just go ahead if I like some stuff by somebody like him and download the entire available library.

My eyesight ain't what it used to be, but it's a damned sight better than it might be. I need to do a bit of shootin' when next I'm Out West.

In this country we embrace the myth that we are still a democracy when we know that we are not a democracy, that we are not free, that the government does not serve us but subjugates us. Although we give lip service to the notion of freedom, we know the government is no longer the servant of the people but, at last has become the people's master. We have stood by like timid sheep while the wolf killed, first the weak, then the strays, then those on the outer edges of the flock, until at last the entire flock belonged to the wolf. We did not care about the weak or about the strays. They were not a part of the flock. We did not care about those on the outer edges. They had chosen to be there. But as the wolf worked its way towards the center of the flock we discovered that we were now on the outer edges. Now we must look the wolf squarely in the eye. That we did not do so when the first of us was ripped and torn and eaten was the first wrong. It was our wrong.
