Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

Gutfeld! might be the best show on the television. I love late-night/early-morning laughs and the humor is biting and sharp without being a mean-girls hatefest. There is comedy on the right despite the bantering of octagons. The shot Kat just took at Miss Noem was every bit as lethally funny as the one she took at the dog.

The pun on car-jacking was hysterical.

Wat shot the old sick goat that time. It's a country thing. City pukes don't understand.

But they sure find it in themselves to whinge a lot.

No they do not and those seriously dedicated to politics have no sense of humor, humility or humanity. It really causes you to reflect, how did we as a civilization get this far and when will "The Others" detect signs of intelligent life. The Others here, there and beyond seem to cause a lot of passion one way or another. Normally, that should be a bell curve, but here, it seems that curve is inverted and not in a smiling, welcoming way but the snarling and hissing of Pit Bulls V Siamese.

I fully intend to hold them 100% responsible for their asshattery. They forgot to vote, and so we get Trump v2.0. And their endless whinging sounds. They have no one to blame but themselves. They never answered what happened to those 7 million votes that disappeared from 2020 to last month.

Unless, of course, they can't answer . . . .

There are a lot of young energetic faces beginning to shape the Republican Party once you get past Trump. I look at the Democrats and I see myself or I see crazy, probably also me (and I must note, spellcheck tried to make that provably proving that Siri's stupid minion has gotten to know me). The future is being charted and there is time for ship-jumping and sorting for the most ambitious and opportunistic.

I'll never misunderestimate Trump's ability to make the least of an opportunity, kind of like when he got his duck lips into the 2022 midterms. But Broadway Uncle Smokin' Joe Willie also fucks up wet dreams. The only thing that saved us was like O'Bama's second term - laziness. They didn't do much of nothin'.

I guess that Nancy was running the show.

Sherman had purpose. His March to the Sea and his northward turn to hook up with Grant was done masterfully. Well fewer than 2% casualties, little need for supplies as they foraged/pillaged their way, and they rolled over what opposition they encountered. He made it happen.

He was also a masterful horseman. With the long exposure times, horse ears are frequently blurry. Good horsemen (and women) could convince their mounts to hold still and not have blurry ears. I have one of my great great grandfather from this era. The horse's ears are down, expressing displeasure, but s/he held still. Pinkerton was also good. Here is Sherman, but to be fair, I think his horse is paying close attention to something off camera. I know that look.

Good morning!

I never approached horses seriously. Once around them i found them rather scary.

Of the five cisgender ladies with which i have lived and loved, two are Colorado girls who know horses as i know Marxism -- totally.

Colorado white chicks are pioneer women and born dommes. Perfect for me.

The sweetest thing my Big Domme ever said was "i'll put you behind me on my horse, you'll hold on to my hair, and we'll ride through the night to the Rio Grande..."

She signs text messages with an equine emoji.

I think Papa Ed Abbey woulda approved.

The other lady, an on-and-off fourth in our poly pod, dislikes Orwell's HOMAGE TO CATALONIA because he says the anarchists treated horses poorly.

This has gotta be one of the great war movies:

I looove this:

Male actors in films have to be able to ride to succeed.

My father was a conventional man who loved watching baseball and boxing, going to Vegas, and visiting the track. This clashed with his Communist ambitions. The FBI guys who surveilled me beginning at age 14 used the codename CADILLAC for my dad, as they were amused by his bourgeois ways.

Not being able to ride cramped my style a bit in Nicaragua and Kosovo, but only a bit.

About Sherman, my fave trivia item is this: Trotsky told Lenin he was prepared to organize and lead the then-glorious Workers' and Peasants' Red Army after reading the memoirs of Gens. Grant, Sherman, and Sheridan.

This was a RussCom recruitment item for decades:

Couldn't find a horse clip.

We sang this lustily in my home as i grew up.

So much beautiful energy wasted.

This inspires today's Ukrainian patriots:

And this strengthens Kazakh pride:

Don't forget this Sufi classic:

[I had no reason to watch BrokeDick Mtn.]

Seems to me the Spanish anarchists coulda used a Wat Tyler Battalion.

With your long book list I'm reluctant but i consider this the greatest 20th c work of fiction:

Red Cavalry and Other Stories (Penguin Classics) https://a.co/d/j4XBgtk

Building a new Literotica in the shell of the old.

They believed this:

Trumped this:

They got Trumped and dumped.

This might have been preferable:

My horse poem over there >>>>>>
is very accurate of how and when I learned about horses. I had a wonderful equine spirit in the flesh teach me. It was a fabulous excessive in putting aside Preconceived Notions in order to have a New Experience.

First, the are prey. We are predators. They can take care of themselves, but there are some ways of thinking and reacting that are the ways of prey. That needs to be accepted if not necessarily understood at first. I tried out a "distressed bunny" call to lure coyotes (not prey) and I wound up with four equine judges on the other side of the fence looking at me with Sherman's horse's focus like, "hey, human, what are you doing to that bunny?" They weren't amused. I had no idea - until I did.

Second, they are herd critters. One is truly the Loneliest Number for them. It's not fair. They should always be had at least in pairs. When we had four - the two older ones died last year - they seemed to bond in pairs. Tall horses here, shorter horses over there. They can come to be attached to humans, but we will never be horses.

Third, they have no fingers. All their sense of touch is in their mouths. My buddy was standing beside me one morning and took his teeth and "sampled" the skin on the back of my hand. He didn't bite me. I think he was curious about my texture and wanted more information than his lips could acquire. I wasn't sure what to make of it during the few seconds it went on, and I half expected to bleed. No blood. No pain. Just a small examination.

Fourth, if there is a bond, they like attention, and they will give attention. I think that knights and their warhorses worked to form bonds in order to communicate to become better killers. Dressage is similar training, and works best with One Horse One Human. Mine liked his apples and he liked being groomed. He would stand patiently while I brushed him.

Horses of burden are often abused grossly. I suppose that some are dumb and don't distinguish. Mine was smart. He might have played along to get along if needed, but he was capable of more than just that. The beasts get worked to death and treated as disposable things. It's not fair and it's abusive. They are Sentient, not machines.

For horses that are paying attention, I seem to bring out the best in them. I try to see things like they see things.

That's a handsome blanket that Sherman's horse has. I'm curious what his name was.
