What does it take to become a HT regular?

You're one of those I like, even though you probably don't know me.

And, Eilan, yes, it's all about YOU! :)
Now, show us your tits, please? :D

I like you too, really, you sexy little thang.
I would like to have gotten to know the new group, but I really haven't had time.
Besides, most of my insightful posts get ignored, so why bother posting?
No way MF, keep posting (I've noticed your absence and have seen a post here and there and am glad)... we never know how we touch others here. Just because a post might not get mentioned doesn't mean it's ignored at all.

I don't like what you said about 'say what they want to hear' ... I love that there are so many different people and different ways to think.

I hope you do find the time. :rose:

I'm not sure if I have what it takes to be considered a HT regular, but I find myself drawn to the Cafe on a daily basis for the atmosphere. It's a friendly one yet at times intimidating. I'm constantly amazed at the well thought out advise offered here. I've rarely seen those iggy wannabe's posting their negative bullshit here like on other threads. Perhaps its that intimidation thing working. I enjoy the dry humor and bantering between the regulars. I feel like I've been invited to a family reunion by one of the regulars (Thank you, Cate! :rose: ) where I don't know many of you, but feel it would be worth the effort to change that.

One thing I'm curious about tho, I'm not a coffee drinker and I'm wondering if a cold Bud Light or a shot of Quervo is on the menu here at the Cafe?

Hi hdlynnette :)

Well I only drink coffee in the morning - so a good glass of wine or a cold beer would be very welcome to me!

I agree with you about the humor - that I believe is what really keep drawing me back - I too was a (and still to some extent) a lurker - I have decided I have to stop it and jump in - and jump in even to the extend of find my way on the other forums here. You see, one day I hope to be able to change my title under my name like those with so many posts....tee hee :D

ps - Eilan - btw I love your new title and location - meant to tell you yesterday - very

They look nice

Wow. I've been at Lit over a year and no one has asked to see my tits. Sure, they've hinted and stuff, but. . .

*sniff* I love you all!

You can see them in my av. Kinda. Sorta. Or would you prefer last week's saggy, though less appealing, av? :D
You're soooo dramatic today...

I remember last week. No, wait, no I don't. Damn '70's.

OK, show us your buckeyes. :D
Ah, midwestern girls. Gotta love 'em,
over and over again.

Hell yeah! Of course, EJFan will bitch about the Bud Light, but he can bring his own shit. :D

You can have anything you want... it's like Alice's Resturant!

I'm glad you're jumping in here - the more the merrier. I understand there is a feeling of intimidation but most likely we all faced that... in my case I just talk a lot so ... tada!

This is an interesting corner of Lit, which is an interesting corner of the 'Net. It's a most unusual place and can't be duplicated (tho some have tried). I've learned tons here, challenged my beliefs, become more compassionate with others and myself too.

I hope others do join in, de-lurk, or just come on over from other boards. I post on a few boards and lurk at a couple too. There are groups of people that join together in friendship ie. cliques. But as I said above, I think that means there are true friends here AND there is NO reason that the friendship group can't grow.

(If it doesn't grow larger, some of these people will put a hit out on my fingers so I'd shut up!)

Hey MF - I really love the post you post on the how to make people laugh - am so sorry that I've not told you before - but then I've not told the others either so guess I need to be whipped.

Pfft--there ya go. Turning this into a size thread. :D

Yeah, I didn't really mean that remark and knew I shouldn't have posted it.
Let me just tcarter it (retract backwards)

I've been depressed and have way too much on my mind for the last year or so. It's hard to be positive, so I try not to say anything at all instead.

Yes, YOU touch people. Please keep it up.
And I hope I have helped someone, somewhere, sometime, also.

Intimidating? Me? Good Lord, I'm one of those twits who are afraid of little spiders...;)

I don't drink coffee either. (I was almost kicked out of my family--they all consume mass quantities of coffee.) Give me an ice cold can of carbonated caffeine any day. and any time, which is why I probably can't sleep...

Oh, and MagicFingers, I do too know who you are, and I've always meant to ask you what the heck your AV is a picture of.

Thanks, sassy_girl1963

We should all probably tell each other when we like something. People need positive feedback. It makes our day sometimes.

So, tell us a joke. If you don't, you just might need that wuppin.
Whatever turns you on... :)

hdlynnette, welcome. The more the merrier.
That's another thing I like about this HT forum(s), friendly, loving, caring people!

"I don't wan't a pickle, I just want to ride my motor sickle.
And I don't want to die, I just want to ride my motor Cy - Cle."
Yep, Alice's Resturant.
Just DON'T litter!!!

MagicFingers, like long ago, I was good with my hands, to make up for that lack of impressive equipment in other areas. I love touch.

And, from those old beds in motels called "Magicfingers". You'd put a quarter in the little box and the bed would vibrate for 15 minutes. :)

And because I envisioned myself as a prolific erotica writer where hot love scenes would drip from my fingertips as I wrote.

So, those are my hands on my keyboard, on top of Katerina Witt, the famous figure skater, who is bending back in the water.

Check my story home page for a bigger picture of it.

Thank you, you're very kind. :rose: I understand about depression and having a full mind. I'm glad you've found your way back here.

I like the tcarter - clever.

magicfingers: every time i see your thread bumped to the top, i keep wondering, gee, i wonder if he's ever gonna post here regularly again. i know i'm probably still a newcomer to you, but it's nice to see you posting here.

I didn't see this last night. Thank you. :)

I won't be posting in or reading this thread any more. I have enough to feel guilty about IRL without worrying about whether or not I'm offending and/or snubbing someone every time I post.

If I've offended anyone, I'm sorry. :rose:

I agree, actually it tends to piss me off, sometimes you just miss a post, sometimes you've got nothing to say, hell sometimes you just don't feel like it.
I can't remember how many times something I have posted was ignored, now I'm not the most secure of individuals but even I realised that that is just how forums work and perhaps what I posted left no room for comment.
A lot of the time I just lurk because I don't feel like posting and by the time I do so many days have passed it doesn't seem worthwhile replying to every post that interested me, although I do try to reply to any that were directed specifically at me, sometimes I miss a few, I'm a flawed human being, what can I say.
Eilan, better your head in the sand than your head firmly up your arse. ;)

MagicFingers, I've always considered you a regular here and it's always good to see people come back after being away for awhile.

I like to think that all the posts I leave that receive no comment are just so brilliant that any response would be overkill...;)
