My 15yo daughter still wants me to give her foot massages. :)

this night at 4 am i will finally see the guy i really really like again... i guess i won't get too much sleep tonight...

Being able to share feelings with an old friend. The things that in normal everyday conversation never get said. It's nice to know that somebody considers me special. :)

A lot has fed my soul today...

Knowing that my dad is optimistic about beating his cancer (we just learned yesterday that the test results came back positive - he's got colon cancer). The docs say it should be easy to remove, and that he should be okay.

My first chiropractic treatment - all the little aches and pains in my back that I didn't even realize were there are suddenly gone, and this may be a viable alternative to having more shoulder surgery.

My cat's beautiful orange eyes, and her constand hugs.

A cool breeze on a hot day, perfect weather for the end of summer.

Stepping on the scale to see I've already lost another 2 lbs this week (lost 5 last week!).

Feeling that things are going to be okay in the end.

That fed my soul, Lynxie. I'm so glad things are going well for you, and I'll be thinking positive thoughts for your dad. Thankfully, it's one of the easiest cancers to treat when it's detected early. Have a lovely weekend, with many more soul-feeding moments. :rose:

The well wishes my Lit friends have sent for my dad - it means a lot that people are thinking about him. :rose:

Refinishing our dining room and front hall floors - today we sanded, and the floors ain't stanky no mo'! Tomorrow, we polyurethane.

Doing something good for myself for a change - 9 lbs down on WW so far (14 if you count the 2 weeks prior to starting the plan) :D

BG - I know a lot of people who think you are special; I'm at the very front of that line! :rose:

Noticing the small changes over the past few weeks:

~There is a chill in the air at 7 am when I leave my house.

~The leaves on my mulberry tree are starting to turn color *a little* and some are even falling off.

~Fall harvest of various things around here, almonds, sweet potatoes, yams.

~Halloween supplies filling in the seasonal department of stores....oh, and the Halloween Superstore going in at the mall! :D

~My air conditioning not coming on at all yesterday *woohooo* meaning it is definately change of season time!

~The prospect of rain this week :nana:

What feeds your soul.

A special certain glance I still get from my husband after almost eight years of marriage.

Watching my children sleep.

The fact that I have my father still around after almost loosing him before he could get a transplant.

Every once in awhile complete and total silence

Rose

hope. The belief that everything and everyone is a teacher gives me hope that even the worst of circumstances and pain serve purposes in our lives.

It makes me sad to see that this thread keeps getting lost. People post every 5 minutes on the WPYO thread, but this one doesn't see as much action. It stinks that people are pissed off more than they're happy.

Today, Erika's PM FMS :) :rose:

Awww...I'm glad, Lynxie!

You're so right about focusing on the positive. Thanks for the reminder! :rose:

You're ;) right Lynxie and it is a good time for me to look for the positive.

Time to myself.
Good music.
Good people (here).
Well I 'll be damned if it doesn't work, I had to struggle to come up with those three, but while I was typing it came to me.

My sister, who seems to understand me and goes out of her way to help. In fact I'm starting to appreciate just how much she has done without me even realising it, I would still be sitting here avoiding if it wasn't for her.
Thanks sis. :rose: :rose:
Thanks Lynxie, I hope you've had your coffee. :D :rose: :rose:

What feeds your soul

Being loved

Kindness

A summer sunset

A genuine smile

My mom's spaghetti and meat-sauce

A hug from a friend

The cool breeze on a beautiful autumn day

Music that touches your heart

Making love

Peace

How about I nudge myself next to you? We can both be in the front.

BG, hogs, oinks, sqeals and curly tails :cathappy:

Getting to watch someone do something they thoroughly enjoy.

Dark streaks on the front and back from the sweat soaking through his shirt. Grass stains and mud clinging to him. Hugging him regardless and feeling his heart thudding fast.......

I love watching my nephew play football :D
