I have a jogging playlist and rarely (if ever) hear those songs outside of jogging. One came on this morning.. My heart started to pick up it's pace, feet started tapping in time to my usual pace... it made me laugh. I've trained myself like a damned dog.

I ran into an old fling last night and this morning he texted me to check in on life and tell me about how things are going with his current relationship. He asked if I had a man in my life. I told him no because I’m bad at dating and he responded with:

And well, it made me laugh but also was nice to hear. We all want to think that about ourselves but it’s nice when other people say it.
