This reminds me of the telephone game we used to do as teenagers. 4 of us take turns ringing a random number and and ask for Denton F. Buchanan. Ring a final time in the evening and say „hi, this is Denton F. Buchanan, are there any messages for me??“

Also, about ten minutes ago, my alarm rang and I said in a very dramatic whine, "oh my god, I've just sat down, can't I even get a rest nowadays?" My husband looked at me, and I said "I know I've been sat here for an hour, but still. It's not fair!" And stood up and walked like Kevin to the kitchen. Making him laugh, makes me laugh.

I was sitting on the beach today and I keep track of where the tide is going while I am there.

A family thought that they would set up in front of me, chairs, umbrellas, coolers…. The “I am going to be ahead of you” or “I want to be as close to the water as I can” family. And then they left, leaving their stuff behind.

Within an hour, the tide was coming against their “camp”. Within two hours the water was under the chairs and lapping against the coolers.

In hour three, they came back to the beach, their stuff wet and having to move behind me and others to “have a spot” on the beach.
