What made you smile or laugh today? Part III

Left my purse at a store, when I went back an hour later, customer turned it in. Everything was still in purse.

Tonight I did a gift exchange with my friend. I'm referred to as "aunti" by her children and tonight was just so funny. I had gotten small gifts for them and didn't know they had also gotten me something. One exchanged gifts with me and we got each other the same thing (slightly different but so funny) and the other got me some specialty soaps (I love fancy soaps). It was really nice and I felt a little more like family.

That's really sweet. :)

Merry Christmas to all my fellow Christmas Eve celebrators! :)

J handed me this year's Christmas puzzle early. It's a toughie so far. Currently deciphering binary into decimal and hoping it amounts to something useful.

And making rice pudding for breakfast! :)

Can I see/hear/read the puzzle? I have a little proficiency with ciphers, might be able to think of something.

Eugh, my inner Grinch is already disgusted before I've even typed this:
...Merry Christmas.......

Ugh, so sorry, but please please please don't regress to LittleDifferent English.. : pukingicon:

I am glad you got all your stuff back :)

Squeeee! And a happy, merry, cheer filed Christmas to you :D :D

It's usually been post-its with J's atrocious handwriting, nothing electronic. :)

It's his Christmas classic to make me a series of puzzles to solve that lead me to my present. The binaries were GPS coordinates of Barcelona and he had drawn a pic of a book under the numbers. The next puzzle was behind Orwell's Homage to Catalonia.

Now I'm looking for clues in a letter maze.

Edit: Ok. I was doing so well and breezed through several puzzles. Now a photo of J wearing a Santa hat, grinning like a madman on our couch has me completely stymied. I have no idea where to go from here. Also, it's fun that he's gone partially digital this year. :)

Edit 2: Yay! I did it! This was the best puzzle thing he's ever done for me yet. :)

I don't know what this means? I was using phone - typed really fast. ??

So umm yeah, the moral of the story was supposed to be there are good people who don't steal stuff. It was a good feeling.

Great! Gives one a little faith in humanity, things like that.

WMMSOLT was getting to play with the cutest kitten _ever_, after not seeing a real life cat since I can't even remember when. Definitely counts as an early Christmas gift :)

Nothing like a good old fashioned flounce to give yourself a good laugh.
