What pissed you off today?

What pissed me off?

The fact that I have met the love of my life, and we can't be together. That's all.
 
Trying to train someone at work to do my job and she spent more time texting than listening so I ended up telling her that I had finished training her as she obviously knew what she was doing.

That ended up with her running to her boss whinging that I refused to train her but of course neglecting to tell him why. I very politely pointed out that I would finish training her but only if she left her phone behind in future.
 
Stupid, incompetent people making painful work meetings even more painful .... stop wasting my time!!!!

Don't you just hate it when that happens? It's like Fate, or Karma, or God, or whatever it is that intrudes in peoples lives always steps in at the wrong time. Like you have to pay for all your misdeeds in one fell swoop. That this ONE thing is what the price is that must be paid.

Something very similar to this happened to me in April. I went thru a grieving process..... denial, anger, rage, sadness, and more tears than you'd think it possible to cry.

And....just when you just want to gather up your marbles and call it quits, because shit like this makes your entire life suck.....

Something happens, or someone happens. Someone who makes you stop dead in your tracks and say - Okay, call me crazy, but I think THIS is worth taking a stab at. As unlikely of a partner you'd think they'd be, as polar opposites you believe they are.... you take that plunge, that leap. You just close your eyes and jump in.

And ya know what? It ain't half bad. (grinning unabashedly) Someone that knows your faults, your insecurities, your 'issues' and says - You're mine now.

Wicked cool.

My suggestion? Keep your eyes open, Scotsman. And your heart. 'Cause you never know what totally awesome event/person might slip away without you even realizing it. Nothing is written in stone, life is change, and it's what you make it. We can only rely on ourselves. So we need to treat ourselves right, you know. It's a choice. To wallow, or soldier on. I can tell you from personal experience, solider on is the right choice.

Having a HORRIBLE BAD HAIRCUT this past week. :(:mad:
I asked for it to be trimmed to just above my shoulders...as in, skimming my shoulders...she took SIX INCHES OFF!!!!:mad::(:mad::(

I feel like I have done something shameful and been shorn.:mad::(

Luckily, my hair grows back quickly...by January my hair should have length...I just need to be patient.

My brain read that as "I murdered a pot plant today" and I was getting ready to rant at you about drug use being possibly illegal depending on your exact locale, and completely unhealthy, especially when one is working on improving physical conditioning.

Whew. Thank you for saving me from a ridiculous rant.

I haven't been able to hit the gym the last few days either, which adds to my annoyance. Tomorrow I am gonna work out, though, and shower until my skin looks like Craisins. :)

Why the hell are there so many gnats hanging around my room lately? What's with all the gnats? Where the fuck are they coming from, and why can't I get rid of them, no matter how many I kill?

After our basement flooded, we were without hot water for two weeks. By the end of that time, I barely noticed that the shower water was ice cold.

And no, it didn't cut my libido down at all. :D

gnats and fruit flies are both members of the same family. There must be some decaying fruit or something like that near by that they are using for their incubation/reproduction area. If and when you find it, it will have a lot of those flying buggers around as well as little pods that look like seeds. These pods are small, but large enough that you can see them with your naked eye. They might look similar to small grains of rice, but slightly darker in color.

Those are pods that will hatch more of the pests. Get rid of the decaying or overly ripe fruit or whatever as well as these pods. The flying adults will die, once you remove the food source. Until then, you will constantly have more and more as they reproduce exponentially.

Incidentally, gnats are usually dark in color, almost black. Fruit flies are brownish, and may even look kind of red. No matter which it is, they're all pests. As long as they have something to feed and reproduce on, you'll never get rid of them.
