Okay. This was a new one on me! So very odd, yet freakishly mesmerizing....

More or less odd than the leek twirler and this Swedish children's music video (the video is the original, btw, not the doings of a pranky youtuber)?
They're all so catchy, damn. Especially the Swedish one. I'm probably gonna hum that all day now, hopefully without lyrics this time.![]()
Of course it was.![]()

Seela the sadist!

Seela the sadist!
More like a masochist.
I've been singing that song all day today. Så olika men nästan samma grej, kissa kiss igenom snoppen eller snippan om man är tjeeeej!
Kissa means cat in Finnish btw.

And to bring this thread back on topic (although one of the videos featured leek, so that's kind of on topic). I cooked chicken with wilted spinach and roasted tomatoes to go with it.
And I forgot to soak the lentils and came home tired and uninspired, so I got kebab for us.
It was yummy and we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

This confuses me a bit. I never ever soak my lentils, and I never ever have problems cooking them. Who is doing it wrong?![]()
Just to thrill MWY (and because it's too hot to really cook, and it's kiddo's turn) we're having grilled ham with mac & cheese. Yes, the blue box kind, but we substitute half yogurt and half sour cream for the milk, and toss in some shredded cheddar.
Do you have to cut them with a knife after cooking by this method?

Nope! Delicately delicious

Flog her.
FLOG HER!!
And then pump her stomach.

I could use a good flogging, please! Leave my innards out of it, though.
I look at it this way...it's cheap, easy, tasty, and I didn't have to make it. This has been an exceptionally ouchy week for reasons unknown. I was shaking by the time we finished grocery shopping yesterday, and it was a fairly quick run. I'm so grateful for kiddo cooking.

There are some good frozen mac and cheeses as well!
Can't you try them next time?
Can you tell I really, really dislike the blue box? Even doctored up.
She says, as she eats Taco Bell for lunch.
