Oh SB. Yuck. But I'm glad all will be well. I'm impressed that you had the presence of mind to save what had come off. Not sure I could have done that.

Welcome to Lit, BTW. :rose: :)

buy lots of pairs that are identical. That's what I used to do with my kids. Eliminated having to match them up.
oddly enough i used to have this goin' on here. i had about 80 pairs and i think there were only 2 different styles. just a few weeks ago i went through and weeded out all the ones that were starting to show significant wear. now i'm down to about a third of the original inventory.

I hate matching up kids' socks. I buy different types for each child so I know which socks belong to each one, and I still get confused.

Why bother? Down there in redneck country you probably stick out like a revenuer because you wear socks.
so true. :D

many of them are actually used to provide the illusion of a significant package though... so you don't always see them.

someone has to. can you imagine what'd happen if he got cold and shriveled?

Wondering if I'll be able to stomach watching The Golf Channel tonight for all the wailing and gnashing of teeth if Tiger Woods misses the cut in the U. S. Open.

Yep...I've been swimming in the Atlantic off the coast of Maine many, many times.

in about 45 minutes i'm gonna take a god damned nap and that's all there is to it.

Methinks the torture involved margaritas.
