What's your personality type?

Enfp

I am an inspirer!

You love being around people, and you are deeply committed to your friends.
You are also unconventional, irreverent, and unimpressed by authority.
Incredibly perceptive, you can usually sense if someone has hidden motives.
You use lots of colorful language and expressions. You're quite the storyteller!

In love, you are quite the charmer. And you are definitely willing to risk your heart.
You often don't follow through with your flirting or professed feelings. You break a lot of hearts.

At work, you are driven but not a workaholic. You just always seem to enjoy what you do.
You would make an excellent entrepreneur, politician, or journalist.

How you see yourself: compassionate, unselfish, and understanding

When other people don't get you, they see you as: gushy, emotional, and unfocused

Each time I take that test, I receive a different result. Does this mean I have multiple personality disorder?

ENFJ? What's an ENFJ?

The Giver

You strive to maintain harmony in relationships, and you usually succeed.
Articulate and enthusiastic, you are good at making personal connections.
Sometimes you idealize relationships too much - and end up being let down.
You find the most energy and comfort in social situations ... where you shine.

I guess that's mostly true. I'm not very enthusiastic. I'm more of a sarcastic pessimist. I TRY to be social, but I have found that without alcohol I'm actually very awkward in social situations. I'm friendly but misanthropic

In love, you are very protective and supporting.
However, you do need to "feel special" - and it's quite easy for you to get jealous.

Big Blaring WRONG on the jealous thing. I've actually had previous partners complain that I don't care enough about them, and should be more jealous of their actions. Maybe that's why I get cheated on. Hahaha

At work, you are a natural leader. You can help people discover their greatest potential.
You would make a good writer, human resources director, or psychologist.

Definitely NOT a leader. I do my tasks well, when they are given to me. But I need constant direction as to what to do when I'm done. Also, I can't handle long lists of things to do. I forget what comes next after the third or fourth thing.

How you see yourself: Trusting, idealistic, and expressive

sure, why not?

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Bossy, inappropriate, and loud

Bossy? hmmm, more like opinionated and stubborn. Definitely inappropriate. That one is dead on. I don't think I'm loud, though.

I took that myers briggs test on a different site and got:

ISTP
Introvert(11%) Sensing(1%) Thinking(1%) Perceiving(22)%

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (11%)
You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

Soooo.... I don't really put any stock in this method of finding personalities. seems too variant.

The Visionary

You are charming, outgoing, friendly. You make a good first impression.
You possess good negotiating skills and can convince anyone of anything.
Happy to be the center of attention, you love to tell stories and show off.
You're very clever, but you are not disciplined enough to do well in structured environments.

In love, you see everything as a grand adventure. You enjoy taking risks for love.
And if things don't work out, you're usually not too much worse for the wear!

You would make a great entrepreneur, marketing executive, or actor.

At work, you need a lot of freedom to pursue your own path and vision.
How you see yourself: Analytical, creative, and peaceful

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Detached, wishy-washy, and superficial

I can completely see this in all aspects of my life, even if there is a little twist here and there, its pretty much spot on.

...and Google is my tool

INTP – You are eternally condemned to researching an extremely vapid topic using wildly inaccurate methods, mostly involving interviewing people who have no idea what they’re talking about.

Welcome to the world of the business consultant. I am not quite this same "personality" according to M-B, but it was hell nonetheless. I cannot tell you how many bottles of wine it took to drown out the days and days of interviewing morons about their work.

Love this. 😈
Yes, but what am I doing in ENTJ-hell?

This is going to be one of those Josef K-experiences, right?

ENTJ – Somebody is wrong, and they’re directing a large group of people! You can’t do anything about it and will have to obey whatever inefficient policies they decide to implement.

Shit I'm boring...:devil::devil::devil: I thought I was pretty fun.

I'm an INFP, and this is truly horrifying.

I'm an INFP as well (I'd forgotten you were one); I'll see you in HELL!

Exactly what I'd expect an INTP to say.

That kinda seems like just "hell," period.

The Myers-Briggs test is horse shit wrapped up in seductive corporate junk bond paper.

On the validity of Myers-Briggs:

Journal of Management
The Straight Dope
Skeptic's Dictionary
Psychology Today
BBC News
Sharp Brains
Skeptoid

I have a much more accurate measure and by my own test I am a INBJ (I Need Blow Jobs).

Pfftt. Of course. The author of each of those is an INTJ.

Evil.

INFJ – You are eternally damned to working for a morally corrupt company that aims to exploit the weak and generally degrade conditions for all of society.

This feels a little too much like my day to day dealings at the moment, to be as amused as I'd like to be... Does that mean I actually get to tell people I work for Hell, now?
