I would prefer single for the reason that it's just so much simpler.

That would depend on if the married submissive is in an open or poly marriage, if the spouse knows, if the affair is online or real time, and if the spouse considers taking instruction (sexual or otherwise) from someone else (online or real time) to be cheating.

If your spouses don't know about your relationship, you're cheating.

If you're spending emotional, mental, physical energy on a lover outside your marriage without your spouse's knowlegde, you're cheating... If you're cheating (and the spouses don't know), how do you know you're meeting your spouses needs?

I venture to guess that the married subs are bored with vanilla sex, so are more responsive to something different.

I find this comment highly offensive. Both my PYL and I are married to other people. We are very much concerned with each other outside of our kinky/play activities. Daddy has emotionally supported me through all sorts of personal situations.

It is a relationship physically and emotionally, complete with pesky aspects. (maybe different aspects than if we were married to each but with some additional ones, too)
