Have you seen "The Congress" yet?! I've had it on DVD a while, but yet to watch.

She's one of those people I often find "beautiful" or maybe even "hot", but not really "sexy" or things of that nature. [Good-looking in "Princess Bride", can't recall "Forrest Gump" (also have on DVD, but not watched), but stopped thinking about her really at all after seeing Sean in "Mystic".]

Growing up, parents divorced, & we were forced to live with Mother (no choice or question). By "we", I mean me & my female older-&-only sibling.

I grew up watching "Party Of Five" some (cable repeats & the new ones when I had caught up), including the JLH spinoff with pre-"Alias" Jennifer Garner & pre-"NCIS"... Well, "Abby" (not gonna try to spell it). Sibling teased me like crazy about JLH & a few others that were "out there" (& this was largely pre-Internet & paparazzi, etc.).

I still think many of them are good-looking, but not enough to react positively to photo-shopped stuff like in a certain thread on these boards & stuff like that.

I binge-watched all the House of Cards that was available a couple of years ago. I had a hard time getting my head around the idea that it's the same woman.

I think the sexy in the latter was personality. In The Princess Bride she was playing a role of a vacuous woman, in the House of Cards she displays smart. Smart is sexy.

I disagree with both of those in some way.

1] I don't think "vacuous" in "TPB" due to lack of knowledge being explainable via character's age & lack of experiences (not just sexually, either).

2] Smart is often sexy (though IMO, the oft-done "sexy librarian" for instance gets hotter watching them remove glasses, etc.), but I for one dislike women who speak/act intelligent as though it makes them superior to the less-so man, etc.
