Once again thanks for the catch-up and synopsis. Take care all of us in the snow belt.another week, another Monday
that's just the way it works - I don't make the rules
quick catch up then back to work for me...
Thank you! Storm experience varies by location but everyone seems to have gotten a round of Cold from Mother Nature. The Warm Wishes are very welcome.
same. doesn't look like snow in my area until later in the month. a touch of snow to send us off into the Negative Zone and then a touch more when it warms back up

Same view in Celsius for our friends using that system.
However that view makes the whole month look like one, long Negative Zone (who needs that?)
Brr - I feel colder looking at C temps than F

Is that the Cold Option for warm milk at bedtime?![]()
Smart choice! No need to play on the ice rink unless you're an Ice Skater or Hockey Player IMO![]()
Water problems are so frustrating. We need water, but when it doesn't go where you want? What a mess!!
Hope it gets resolved soon this week, @dkak001
Yes, but also appears to have at least a skeleton crew on most major holidays. Maybe not the full menu, but service available for those in need.
Hopefully the return to your routine will help. Nice your siblings are able to assist with Mom. The in-room Music Fest sounds like a lot of fun.
Sick leave approved, Missk... take the day. Hope you feel better soon!

Feels like a good day to burrow under the covers and veg out!
Welcome to January
always such a warm welcome every new year
Good luck with the redecorating, RJ
Hope Mrs RJ has the same taste in decor
Those shenanigans, and more, are scheduled for a bit later this month or perhaps early next.
And it's not just the Midwest - parts of Canada join in the fun, too when the temps get ridiculous
This one's lots of fun - just don't throw the water on the sidewalk or driveway (safety first)
The Freezing Stuff in Below Zero Temps seems to have gained momentum about 10 years ago with someone in MN freezing some jeans and setting them up around town. They took pictures, tagged them with fun captions like "Freezing my pants off", and posted them to social media where they went viral. Now there's all sorts of "Freezing things" videos out there.![]()
So boring - stuff doesn't freeze at 60 above
JK - sounds lovely. when can we all come to visit?![]()
Winter wonderland I'm sure....
About 5 to 6 inches here
