As expected, first day back in the office after the holidays is pure chaos. This is the first I’ve been able to log onto Lit, and I won’t be able to stick around today but I at least wanted to pop in and say “hi”.

I grew up 200 miles from Ed's hometown. Lots of Ed stories.

My mother has a very old lamp with a leather shade. I can't help but wonder...

Certain time periods and/or locations - "let nothing go to waste" and "make due with what you have at hand".

Old bay Seasoning just came up in conversation w/ someone last week. I mentioned having a "copycat" recipe for a different brand's Seasoned Salt.
The look on their face when I told them I omit both the salt and the sugar when I make it.

She puts the lotion in the basket....She does as she is told, or she gets the hose again...

My sisters spent the day with my mom.

She hears you.... when my grandma was in her last days my mom would go and rub her legs. In one of her periods of being lucid she looked my mom in the eyes and said "of all my kids I knew you would be the one".
She knows you are there.... her baby boy.....
We are not bored we all want to support you.... many hugs to you and the mrs.
