I thought I'd share this as it's so cold in most of the country.
Before my Wife and I were even "an item" I bought Her a gift (shipped from Amazon) and told Her "You're going to look at it and say, Huh!... and then You're going to LOVE me."

My heart goes out to you and yours during this tough time.
I went through it with my dad in 2019... it's tough, but I wouldn't trade a single minute that I spent with him (good or bad) for a million dollars.
 
I got another one of those calls today. One of those calls where my parents are all upset because google warned them someone signed into their google account... Two phone calls and over an hour later, a password reset, activity check, and THEY signed into google on a new device...

I see a lot of things slipping and it's VERY difficult to watch. Watching them forget how to do things they've done for 20+ years is hard to do. I suspect it isn't going to get any better.

Winding down for the night. Still in a lot of physical pain today, so hoping for a decent sleep tonight.

Rest well...
It's tough to see them starting to "slip" a little...
My Wife took care of Her parents throughout it all. She's a strong lady and a Saint IMHO.
