If you had to boil it down, what are your three least favorite ways to feel?

(Speakig of emotions and feelings here - I don't mean stepping on a Lego - even though that's the worst)
1-insecure
2-misunderstood
3-foolish
And all of these are made worse when they are connected and you are gaslit about them.

Ugh.

1. Jealous
2. Jealous Not enough
3. Jealous Too much
1. Stupid (either like I am or someone treating me like I am)

2. Unacknowledged or ignored (particularly when it's a purposeful withholding)

3. Helpless (when you have just no idea what to do or if you can do anything)

** There's something here about grief but I also think grief serves a purpose so... not great but not top 3.
1) Lonely
2) Neglected/ignored
3) Overwhelmed

So much fun when they feed off each other too

You ladies pretty much summed it up. Top three just depends on the situation, but too much, not enough, and stupid/foolish are some of the worst.

And just so we don't dwell on the bad stuff too much....

If you had to boil it down, what are your three favorite ways to feel?
1. Safe - unjudged, accepted, wanted, secure
2. Seen - that feeling when someone just gets it without a ton of discussion and explanation
3. Inspired - this can be creatively or motivated, determined, or encouraged

Least favorite ways to feel:

Resentful
Depressed
Anxious

Emotions like anger and jealousy you can turn around into something else. But the above are just ones you have to bear through.

Favorite ways to feel:

Appreciated- your efforts are valued, people give you love, that girl you're into has let you know she really wants to fuck you (YOU specifically). Just knowing you are welcome and wanted.

Accomplished- just got a big project done and it's awesome, the gig went really well and the crowd was great, finally finished that writing project, and holy smokes did that recipe turn out great, so great that the girl I'm into really wants to fuck me (ME specifically)

Content- Sunday morning with a cup of coffee and a blues mix, just took a gummy and now I'm chilling with one of my favorite movies, just fucked that girl and made her gaz her brains out, now we chill 😎❤️

And just so we don't dwell on the bad stuff too much....

If you had to boil it down, what are your three favorite ways to feel?
1. Wanted. Like people are generally happy to have me around.
2. Heard. Even if you don't agree with me, that you've at least listened and considered what I have to say.
3. Content. I'm on my couch with my cat purring loudly in my lap. I wish I could feel like she does right now.

If you had to boil it down, what are your three least favorite ways to feel?

(Speakig of emotions and feelings here - I don't mean stepping on a Lego - even though that's the worst)
  1. Uncertain. Some people find that exciting. I need to have at least some idea. Of direction. Of people.
  2. Not enough. It's hard to keep on keeping on, when your lived experience tries to tell you that you're not enough.
  3. Anxious. It can leave you crippled and unable to get out of bed. Those days are hard.

If you had to boil it down, what are your three favorite ways to feel?
  1. Valued/appreciated. Whether it's for work, or as a person, or just..  knowing how much you mean to a person or environment.
  2. Free. I do love and appreciate when I am free. Of burdon and obligation. It doesn't happen often. But man, it's a good feeling.
  3. Loved. It's the best feeling.

1. If you were given a box of every item you'd ever lost in your whole life, what item do you hope you'd see on top?

2. If you were in a room with every single person you'd ever met in your whole like (irl or online), which five people would you run up to first?

1. If you were given a box of every item you'd ever lost in your whole life, what item do you hope you'd see on top?
My innocence. It’s not an item but I lost it way too young.
2. If you were in a room with every single person you'd ever met in your whole like (irl or online), which five people would you run up to first?
1-my BFF because she would be as stoked as I am to be in a room full of random people and I could get me energy out with her.
2, 3, 4- my kids so I could point out who all the folks they don't know are.
5-Maya Angelou-but i’d walk she wouldn't like me running at her.

1. If you were given a box of every item you'd ever lost in your whole life, what item do you hope you'd see on top?
No fucking clue. It’s lost to me forever I suppose.

My faith in people doing what they’re supposed to do if it can be a non physical item.

2. If you were in a room with every single person you'd ever met in your whole like (irl or online), which five people would you run up to first?
My paternal grandmother. And then you and a few other lit people. Hard to narrow it down to just three more.

1. If you were given a box of every item you'd ever lost in your whole life, what item do you hope you'd see on top?
this is a really hard one. Ive lost so many things over the years. But I've dealt with and come to terms with each one. I guess the most recent one. I have lost a bracelet with some very meaningful charms on it. It has gone missing in my house move, that was in early December.
It may still turn up. But if it doesn't. I shall deal with that and move on.
2. If you were in a room with every single person you'd ever met in your whole like (irl or online), which five people would you run up to first?
1. My dad. Easy. He's been gone for so long. But I miss him. All the time. Ha - even now it makes me tear up to think of him.
The other 4 are harder. I'd always run to my kids. But I see them all the time now. So I'm comfortable not naming them here.
2. There is one. Just to be in the same place as him. Would mean everything. I still think he'd find a way to get out if it though. 🤣

I imagine they'd all be in different sections. And some people would look at me and go why the fuck am I here, and who the fuck are you? Hehe.

3. Ooh. That guy that I stupidly gave an incorrect phone number to. Yeah. Him.

4. my Danish friends. Yes. Would LOVE to see them!

5. Guess 5 would be whoever caught my eye next. I'd be happy to see almost everyone. So. It would be a long long event.

1. If you were given a box of every item you'd ever lost in your whole life, what item do you hope you'd see on top?
A particular piece of art my dad created. I thought my mom would have found it when she cleared out the house in her move, but she didn’t. I’ve mostly made my peace with the loss, but still get a bit wistful thinking about it on occasion…and the tattoo of it that I wanted to get across my whole back.

2. If you were in a room with every single person you'd ever met in your whole like (irl or online), which five people would you run up to first?
I’m fortunate to have some amazing people in my life, but would run up to the ones I don’t (or can’t) see often.
  1. My dad would be first without a doubt. I had so many excellent years with him, but I miss him beyond words.
  2. My grandmother who died when I was 5. I remember her, but would love the opportunity to get to know her better as an adult.
  3. A guy I met at a party while visiting my younger sister at college. He was a bit of an outsider for all the best reasons and we had a fantastic night just talking and laughing. I’ve occasionally thought about him and wondered if his future turned out as wonderful as I expected it to be. I’d really enjoy catching up.
  4. A friend I met while traveling in high school. We clicked instantly which is not something I’ve experienced often. We were inseparable for a while, but lost contact in the transition to college and adulthood when the internet, email, and cell phones weren’t ubiquitous yet.
  5. Any one of a handful of my favorite people from Lit. The ones who make me laugh, smile, think, or cum.
