I've been spending a lot of time helping a kid in our 3rd grade summer school class who doesn't have a DX but should, and could really benefit from the supports that would be available if he did.

He's been an absolute trooper and despite the fact that he's really struggling, he's slowly getting most of what we're studying - as much as time allows.

Several times over the past two weeks, he's told me with a level of earnestness that just slays me, 'Thank you for helping me learn.'



Makes it worth all the bullshit.
