I am honestly one of those weird ones who for the most part doesn't mind being in the hospital if you have good care. While I was in the ICU. It was fabulous and before I had many answers at all. I was really scared as to why my body was doing the things it was. So, there was comfort in being taken care of. But yes. Once I got removed into the regular room, I was tired of asking them to come unhook me from everything just so I could pee.So glad to hear you are able to be at home while you wait for the test results and full diagnosis. Sending all the positive healing energy(yes I’m from CA and a former hippie kid). May your strength continue to grow and when it falters know that people are here to support you. There is clearly an army of willing dicks and tits.

Not exactly ready for another round of Cancer and for now I am home. I meet with a Case manager today and my diabetic nurse. They had to take me off all my Diabetes meds (besides insulin) when I ended up with DKA. I mean with an internalist tomorrow and hoping I'll hear when I meet with the surgeon too. I won't get so lucky to escape chemo this time, so back to the fun colors before I lose my hair.Sassy!!! I hope it’s nothing too serious and you get to come home soon.

When I was young and had to have a throat culture I always gagged. I gag brushing my teeth sometimes. Even in my twenties, I had a throat infection, and I had to tell the nurse to “get in and get out fast, because I can’t take it long!”

When I had my tracheotomy, the heal had to close on its own. My first thought was now I have 4 holes to fuck. My second one was blow hole because I felt like an orcaSo, as I saw my first Doctor yesterday- An internalist. Apparently, she was my follow up after coming home from the hospital.
We went over everything I was feeling since release, and she went through to make sure all my referrals were in place.
Because I was intubated while there, my throat has still been really sore and I'm still eating soft food like a little old lady. She gave me Lidocaine.
My first thought :
