🫂🫂Well wishes for AwonkyDonkey❤️❤️

My best wishes for your full recovery, Wonkie!

Fuck, I've just gone through the thread: it's incredible to realize how things can flip to the worst so quickly, often without any prior warning

Thank you so much. You're right, it is incredible just how quick things can turn everything on its head!

Did the doctors ever find out what was wrong or they take a best guess and hope physical therapy would fix it?

Well, after two and a bit months, I think I can say that I'm back to my level of normal. I know a few are saying right now - "Wonky? Normal?! Surely not."

It's been a long period. At the start I thought my life was over. I thought I would never walk again and remain paralysed from the waist down. However a lot of you kept my spirits up so you have my eternal thanks for that.

I still have one area on my thigh where I cannot feel a thing. I've even "tested" it out properly by sticking a needle in it. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Therefore it's now designated "Wonky's Stress Relief Area". Whenever I need to, I'll smack it as hard as I can and I won't feel it. Yay! 😜

Thank you. It's a bit back and forwards at moment. One minute I'm okay and then it's a different story. I'm like British Rail used to be. Slow but I'll get there eventually!
