Yes. I have a great support system at the hospital. They come down each chemo visit to meet with me. I'm so grateful for them.
Thank you EN. 🌹
I'm happy to hear that.

A great support system, really does make things so much better and easier.

Like you, I'm incredibly blessed for mine.

I hope that you've had a good day today.

I feel that you should all send the money to me and then I'll pass it on to Sassy....

I promise. πŸ˜‹
Smooth.

My palliative care team has really stepped up. The nurse has gone above and beyond to help me get answers and point me in the right directions. It made it easier to choose my care at the hospital a little farther away since I knew they'd be there.

We are having an early BBQ today for Easter. Where I live. Traffic on Sundays is normally a bitch. But on a holiday. It is impossible. So, we figured it would be better to gather everyone today. Thankfully it'll be outside. Fresh air.
But I think my injections this week are helping. I feel slightly better than I have been.

Do you get weekly injections???

I get bi-weekly injections straight into my gut.

Yes, fresh air always helps. Boosts your mood.

I hope you have a wonderful time and that eveyone has a great time.

Every Chemo. So, every 2 weeks. I take them for 5 days after I remove my chemo bag. I come home with a bag that I wear for 2 more days. Then I can remove it and that night I start injections that help with my white blood cells. I just did the first-round last week. Thankfully only a little bit of joint pain.
I'm a diabetic. They sent me home with everything since I'm already used to needles and giving myself injections.

Thank you again.

I don't know exactly what's going on, but how is your WBC lately???
They run CBC, hemoglobin and ferritin tests as well???
I know that liver function can be an issue as well.

You're welcome.

Yes, my white blood cells have been very low, which is the reasoning for the injections. We've already lowered doses on my chemo meds and postponed appointments. I was still struggling. So, bring on the injections. My liver functions have been high which was the reason for the MRI I just had. They suspected either a blockage, or that I was developing stones. It came back with none of that. Everything looked normal. All my other blood tests have been pretty normal. They did put me on Potassium. That is in normal ranges now too.
It is a mystery for now. The surgery was major. The pains I had from that were different. I am now 7 months out from that. I can only hope they figure it out sooner than later.

I'll keep you in my prayers.
I'm glad that they're keep a close eye on things for you.

No dying on an eclipse Sassy or days that end in y.
I'm in Washington. Nothing but clouds lol.
Just a rough day. I know it'll pass.

*Plans to whack Sassy over the head with an inflatable hammer every time she feels like dying.*
Hmm. Win win if you get an inflatable penis. Then I can add it to my collection when you're done.

Wow! It seems like only an eternity ago that you started Sassy.

I am beyond impressed with how greatly you handled this whole thing.
I realize it isn’t over yet, but you are (soon to be) past a huge milestone.

It only gets better from here! ❀️

Hooray! Here's hoping that all her blood work came back okay and she can do the final one......big, squishy hugs to you, Sassy, love ya!! πŸ’•πŸ’žπŸ’“β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸŒΉπŸŒΉ
