I went in Wednesday to get drained. They were able to get almost 2liters out. So they gave me the kit that talks about getting a more permanent one that I could drain myself. I just would be have to be really careful of infection.

I had two liters of fluid taken out of my ovary last year! It sounds like a heck of a lot more when imagining it inside you than when throwing a bottle of soda in your grocery cart.

I decided the volume plus the fact that it ended up being a dead organ justified referring to my ovary as my zombie punch bowl. I referred to it like a character anytime I talked about surgery or my recovery

Yes. It's so much each week. I put the 2 liter bottle against my daughter and told her to walk around.
Amazing how visual aids help.
It's more about how much everything pushes on my other organs as the fluids increase.

The closer I get to needing another draining. The pain ramps up. So bloated that it pushes against my other organs.
Today I'm having less pain, but a lot of bloating.
I can stand up and it looks like ł am pregnant.
Pain is here every day. But some days are more tolerable then others.
