I've had days of just needing to sleep. I've had some good days where I was able to function and be there when my kids were here. Those days of comfort are definitely nice. I haven't had to drain for a couple of days now I don't have to do it everyday.

I heard from Sassy's daughter earlier because I haven't been able to talk with Sassy for a couple of days. She's very tired, weak and talking is a big struggle now. When we did talk, I told her of everyone here sending their love and I know she and her husband appreciate it.

Yeah, I miss her so much it's actually painful! She's been my best friend for a long time and saved my life on one occasion. I wish I was there again with her family rather than being 5000 miles away.
